I have been bringing my cars to Oakwood Car Care for as long as they have been open. I have always been treated professionally and with care. Joe , the owner is always both personable and helpful. Mike, the manager is friendly, efficient, caring, knowledgeably, and ever so helpful. He oversees the work and you almost never have to come back after a repair. My SUV has been in there shop since 8/22/2011 & still in there shop didn't even begin working on it yet every time it's an excuse or find something else wrong with it. I wouldn't advise any 1 to go there unless you don't need your car for about a 3 to 4 weeks

Had a flat tire - they were able to see us immediately and gave us fast and efficient service at a FAIR PRICE!! great place for any auto tune ups! they never tried to upsell us or anything. will definitely be taking our cars there for any needs

I am fairly new to New York. You hear often the stereotypes of a dog-eat-dog world. So looking for a mechanic, and honesty, is not an easy task. However, I was in a jam and needed to find one. I came across the reviews for Hughes Motor Corp, and I was immediately impressed to make a call. Vinny answered (he's part of a duo with Kevin). He was very friendly and assuring when I told him about the problems with my Durango. I had AAA tow the car to their workshop in Yonkers. These guys are professional, efficient, and you get your car back within the time frame that is estimated. Overall, I highly recommend this workshop, they are a great team. They will take care of your problems and put you at ease. Cars are expensive toys, what you hope to get is a decent repair job at a fair price. These guys provide both, you'll be in good hands.
