You might say that they will not put any brakes in your way . On 3-07-11 I brought my 2000 Silverado in to Meineke center # 2061 to have the brakes serviced. The brakes were last serviced on 11-01-07 by Meineke center # 115 Odometer 100,888 The shop Meineke # 2061 checked and serviced the brakes on my 2000 Silverado Odometer 130,453 invoice number 3697 While traveling in PA On 4-15-07 the passenger side front caliper on my 2000 Silverado came off and lodged itself in the front wheel Odometer 130,610 I called Meineke shop # 2061 and explained what happened. The Shop told me to get it fixed and that they would “ take care of it” I gave the invoice from a Monro Muffler shop # 90 which serviced my 2000 Silverado To the Manager at 2061 on 4-18-11 I was informed that he would have to talk to the owner of the shop about the invoice. A week later the Manager from Meineke # 2061 called and said they would credit my account $ 466.00 When I questioned him as to why they would not cover the full amount $904.00 The Manager explained it was because I had the rear brakes done. I informed him that the cost of the rear brakes was $253.00 before discounts and that the $466.00 did not cover the cost of a new rotor or the used spindle that Monro had to install. I told him should check his math and call me back when the shop has a chance to look over the Monro invoice. The Meineke Manager of # 2061 called me back with another total $618.00. I asked how he came up with the new total. He explained it to me; again I questioned his ability to read the bill and told him to call me back when he had a better understanding of the Monro invoice. Went there for state inspection. They told me that my car needs front break pads. I was surprised because day before I went to my dealer for oil change and state inspection, which they could not do because of their broken machine and they did mention that my car needed break pads after courtesy meticulous inspection. Dealer’s multipoint inspection sheet indicated that my break pads are less than half way through. I guess it is dealer’s word against Midas’s word. But I’m sure dealer would not pass on this job if my car needed pads and release me in unsafe vehicle. Not wanting to pay for failed state inspection, I went with replacement. Midas charged me $99.99 for Centric ceramic front pads only! + $106 for labor. I think I got the DEAL OF a LIFETIME here as such break pads cost no more than $30 all over the internet. I still could have done good mileage on these break pads. Rip off and scam. Will not go there again!

I recently had a great experience with Colonial Service Station. I had to bring my car in for an inspection and oil change as well as a couple of other services that needed to be done on my car. Everyone there was extremely professional, diligent and courteous. They were very polite over the phone as well as in person. They followed up with me before completing the services rendered. They were concerned for the safety of their customers and provided detailed explanations of what needed to be done with my vehicle. I would highly recommend Colonial Service Station to anyone who asks me what my experience was.

Just pulled in to ask about a service for my vehicle. Great news, the staff is all well fed. They were all sitting around in the break room just behind the front counter. I walked in, said hi and waited for a reply. The men - about 5 - just kept shoveling food into their mouths and stared at me. Odd, so I waited a moment. Then asked if there is anyone who can help me. They all - and I mean ALL - averted their eyes and went for another forkful. "Soooooo, should I just wait guys?" Another forkful. "Should I just go then," I asked. Finally got an answer. One guy took the time between stuffing his face to shrug at me. I laughed and left. Great place. Can't wait for the failures who run it like this to sell it to someone who might care. I certainly wouldn't want people with that level of pride or care working on my car. So many options with people who don't suck. Go elsewhere. Life its too short to wait for lunch break to end for basic human respect.
