This shop is as crooked as they get, they charged 3x what another shop would have and didn't even fix the problem - I'm now suing them to get my $2,300 back

I brought my car here after taking it to another shop to fix the broken heater. The other shop quoted me $1,200. I thought that was outrageous, so I brought it to American Auto Air. They fixed the problem and charged me $700 less then the other place quoted. These guys seem honest and reasonable.

This company was dishonest about the repairs we agreed upon. They overcharge for parts considerably and they did not fix the problem I brought the truck in for. They told me that they would warranty a sensor that had allready failed once then the refused to replace it instead blaming it on another issue. My previous service adviser had told me that they have had several issues with that particular brand of sensor and that they would swap it with another brand. My new service adviser refused to do that instead blaming it on a related but separate issue. Additionally on there post inspection check list the stated the they preformed several items yet none of the were actually done. This is not the first time I have had issues with this shop. I had to get my catalytic converters replaced and upon receiving the vehicle there were missing bolts. After spending well over a $1000 you would think that they could pay attention to such a detail however I had to bring the vehicle back to get a bolt replaced additionally I noticed that One of the bolts was in not very good condition and for all the money I spent I asked them to replace it and they refused to replace it. I don't really trust or get a good feeling from this shop and I don't believe in the quality of their work given what I have had to go through and the premium price you pay for their work.

Things are usually smooth and easy. Tony does care about the customer and trys hard to get parts at the best price and passes the savings on to me.

I would give less stars if it were possible. After THEY broke my cup holder during a previous visit, they now want to charge me to repair it. I took my car in, told them the heater on front seat didn't work and the rear door mechanism that slid the door open and shut wasn't functioning. I also mentioned they told me I needed a new fuel pump when I had it in the previous year (remember the broken cup holder), and now it sometimes was hard to start. They called me back three hours later and told me the heater on the front seat didn't work (to repair: over $300.00) and the rear door sliding mechanism was burnt out (to repair: over $700.00). They told me they could not duplicate the fuel pump issue. I said fine, skip the door and seat repair, and fix the cup holder on your dime, you broke it. Cost to have them verify what I told them?????He wouldn't give me a straight answer on the phone, but said I would charged several hours labor. So that's several hundred dollars, I asked. YES, he said. All that time and money, and hopefully, when I get there, the several hundred cup holder will be restored to it's prime, before they got their hands on it.

I would NOT recommend Lithia for any type of service. Their advisors are generally curt with their customers. I left my Subaru for 9 weeks for recall work! When I finally got notice it was ready, there was a gash about 5" long in the passenger door. They denied any responsibility for it. The service manager recommended I just use touch up paint to fix it. It goes through the paint! I just can't even fathom ever leaving my car again. I took it to Carson City Subaru. They did a thorough check up and found issues I wasn't aware of even though I regularly serviced my car at Lithia Reno. Never again will I visit Lithia Reno Subaru. They are less than friendly and their customer service is deplorable.

Just had my car worked on at Sunshine. This is probably my fourth or fifth time having them work on my car and they are always the best!! They treat their customers with courtesy and respect, they are always fair and very, very prompt!! I will keep utilizing their services for all these reasons. And, they have a great waiting area. Very cool, comfy and complimentary snacks and beverages!! Thank you Scott, Steve, Mark and all of the crew at Sunshine!!

These guys really know there stuff. I have been coming to the Geared Performance crew for over 2 years and these guys have always helped me out and tackled any issue I had. The customer service is spot on. Not to mention the reliability of the custom pro tunes have always been A+. Every vehicle I've taken to them is still on the road today, running better than they did from the factory. Every time I come into Geared, I know I'll be taken care of.
