I have a 2008 Shelby GT500. Years ago, the car was wrecked, and it underwent a restoration by a mod shop near where I lived in California. Although that shop got it back together for the most part, the car still had plenty of unresolved “gremlins” when I got it back. More recently, the car went through two heater cores in a short period of time. I noted a milky-colored coolant during one of the change outs. I was tired of working on the vehicle and wanted a knowledgeable shop to fix the remaining issues with the vehicle. This is hard to do – I am relatively new to the area, and after a bad experience with the restoration, I was hesitant to reach out for help. RDW was recommended to me by a Shelby cohort of mine. Eventually, I called and spoke with Ron and Dianna and arranged for a time and date to bring it to them, which I did. Through speaking with Ron, I was pleased with his competence and knowledge of the cars, and mechanical knowledge, more specifically to Mustangs. *Thankfully* oil was not in the coolant, but it was SEVERELY congested with sediment, leading me to believe the mod shop that did the restoration may have had conflicting coolant in it one time. Let me add Ron did not have to do a “simple” flush to start seeing uncontaminated coolant… Long story short, Ron and his employees flushed the system and repaired other issues with the vehicle, over about a two-month time frame. Since then, the Shelby is now 90% of its former glory. It runs well and I have no issues, and I cannot describe how much it means to me to have everything working well with the car. Many thanks to Ron and Dianna for not just doing good work, but following through all the way with fixing the Shelby’s coolant issues, and fixing the other issues in the car. I strongly recommend this shop! - The “Fuzz”

I brought my car here after taking it to another shop to fix the broken heater. The other shop quoted me $1,200. I thought that was outrageous, so I brought it to American Auto Air. They fixed the problem and charged me $700 less then the other place quoted. These guys seem honest and reasonable.

This company was dishonest about the repairs we agreed upon. They overcharge for parts considerably and they did not fix the problem I brought the truck in for. They told me that they would warranty a sensor that had allready failed once then the refused to replace it instead blaming it on another issue. My previous service adviser had told me that they have had several issues with that particular brand of sensor and that they would swap it with another brand. My new service adviser refused to do that instead blaming it on a related but separate issue. Additionally on there post inspection check list the stated the they preformed several items yet none of the were actually done. This is not the first time I have had issues with this shop. I had to get my catalytic converters replaced and upon receiving the vehicle there were missing bolts. After spending well over a $1000 you would think that they could pay attention to such a detail however I had to bring the vehicle back to get a bolt replaced additionally I noticed that One of the bolts was in not very good condition and for all the money I spent I asked them to replace it and they refused to replace it. I don't really trust or get a good feeling from this shop and I don't believe in the quality of their work given what I have had to go through and the premium price you pay for their work.

You guys really thought you would get me to pay $2794.12 to replace my A/C. I took it to another mechanic in town and they replaced it for $1052.80. I showed them your estimate and they confirmed my suspicion that your pricing is total BS. It works perfectly fine now.

Sport Haus

I purchased a 2007 Audi A6 from Sport Haus, and I will never buy from them again, the sunroof on my Audi had issues when I bought it so, they said they would fix it, 2 months later I had to call them to find out they had the part, took it in left with them the whole day, got my car back and tilted sunroof like normal and drove home. For the next couple of weeks the weather was inclamite so I never opened sunroof, when the weather got nice I went to open my sunroof, and all I heard was crunching and then the sunroof started going open and close on it's own, I then turned the switch to close sunroof, to which it moved 2 inches and then went all the way back and took the sunroof shade with it. I called Sport Haus and they got me in the next day, to get sunroof closed, They did get sunroof closed, but Service Manager told me I broke sunroof, I asked how and he said a forcefully opened sunroof, I said I turned knob and he said there was nothing more they could do "You broke the sunroof frame" is what I was told "so don't use your sunroof". I was very upset with what they had told me and all I wanted was my sunroof fixed. They Lie and their Trained Techs, aren't very trained. Elk Grove Audi said "The part they "Sport Haus" replaced, if not installed correctly would cause the problems I'm having now", and since the tech had replaced it once before I only imaging it was done wrong again, this time it's on me not them.
