Had a fantastic experience over at Brookside. It's never convenient to go without your car, and body damage repairs are always a mystery... But Paul and Richie over at Brookside really take care of you. I mean, I was blown away by their responsiveness, patience in explaining everything, and resourcefulness in arranging rental cars and dealing with insurance companies. My truck was back exactly when they said it would be. And it hasn't looked this good since the day I brought it from the dealer.

The owner of this company is an extremely rude sexist and thief! I got in a car accident and my car was towed to this shop without my consent. I requested for the car to be towed to my normal shop (which is lovely) to be worked on instead. The owner forced me to come in person to sign to release my car. He then in person called me (a female) stupid REPEATIDLY for moving my car saying Geico was taking advantage of me and my rights, even though it was my choice to have my car moved. After being berated REPEATIDLY and signing to release my car in person I come to find out that the owner is still REFUSING to release my car unless the insurance company pays the storage for my car in person in cash (not common practice). They are refusing the check payment that was sent. This thief is still holding my car charging daily fees refusing to release it which is against NYS law. It has been over a week. BEWARE and NEVER let this man have his hands on your car.

We are long term former residents of East Meadow and had used Hy Grade Auto Body in the past. We were back in NY for a visit over the Christmas holiday and were in a jam because of a minor accident. We brought our car to Hy Grade on Friday afternoon and needed it fixed that day since we were driving home to Florida that weekend. Our daughter was recently involved in a motor vehicle accident. We called our mechanic, who immediately recommended Cannon Collision, and advised us to speak with Paul. We contacted Paul immediately, who said that he would gladly take a look at the vehicle. After bringing the car down, Paul went over the entire car with a fine tooth comb. I mean, this guy's thorough. I felt immediately at ease, for his expertise and his respectful tone proved to me that he was definitely a class act. Paul was in touch with us consistently from day one. He even offered to give us a lift to the rental car company, and even contacted a few for us while we were in his office. When we went down to pick up the car today, I couldn't believe what I saw - the car looked like it just pulled off the showroom floor! Our vehicle is 11 years old, and it hasn't looked that good in YEARS! The entire car was completely detailed, inside and out, and my daughter even commented that she loved how clean the car was! The entire experience, which could have been horrific, was smooth from the get-go. Paul and all the guys at Cannon Collision made this experience so much easier. The car handles really well now, and all work is 100% guaranteed. Paul said that no vehicle that ever leaves his shop is unsafe, which rested my mind as a parent.
