Auto glass repair service near Astoria, NY

Absolutly terrible customer service. Went in for simple auxiliary port repair on my radio, a week later at promised date the owner said his guy was on vacation. Went back a week later at next promised date and he said and I quote "oh Yea what happened to that," and I have never seen my radio again or received any compensation, the radio worked perfect except the port. Hundred dollar radio essentially stolen.

For average cars it may be worth it, for high end euro cars with gadgets and sensors I wouldn't recommend, at least not this location. My local Safelite broke my lane departure system and casing and now the system is not aligned properly on the windshield either, mind you brand new car less than 8 months old 2014. Here is my experience: 5/22 original appointment - wrong glass ordered when specifically stated correct part no. as well as VIN in notes 5/28 replacement glass installed - tech having difficulty installing mounting lane departure interior cover - noticed cover not fully aligned 5/29 came back spoke with Duane (manager) who takes car to the back while I wait in waiting room - after waiting an hour I head to the back and notice Duane sitting and texting in the driver seat, he shuffles his hands puts away the phone, and picks up the cover from the passenger floor - I ignore that and he mentions module cover should be replaced, replacement will be ordered and Jess (receptionist) will contact by 6/3 6/3 no phone call no follow up 6/4 no phone call no follow up 6/5 go back to the location, Duane not present, several techs gather, admit job was poorly done, and to speak with Duane on 6/6 I believe I have been more than patient, having done everything as a customer, and have allowed ample time for the local location to correct the issue. There should be more quality control and screening on the techs doing the job, therefore this does not happen, also there should be no one sitting in a customers car lounging let alone a manager. Why am I waiting while the manager isn't doing anything in the back? It is one thing to see this from a tech, another to see a manager doing this. Clearly the manager in this situation failed to correct the issue, it's one thing for a tech to make a mistake, but it is a bigger failure for the manager not to correct it. If this were to happen again, I would go another location, if not the dealer, at least then I will not have to make multiple trips, will have a loaner, and will also have quality control, as the dealer will have higher quality control, even if they subcontract it to Safelite. Since insurance covers it I would not be concerned of cost.

Best experience ever. Perfect body work and sensor replacements after an accident. The electronics behave perfectly. Most important of all, no surprise expenses, no hustle. Everyone is super friendly there (thank you Stacy) and Frank is amazing. Thank you!

Nick has been avoiding my husband after getting cash to buy a hood cowl, which he never delivered! After getting the cash, he disappeared. I'm so pissed my husband got ripped off by this *$#÷$*&! Definitely reporting him! DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

They took my money and promised to repair my car they never did they didn't return the money either and they didn't fix the car I already sued them.

Nicholas S 347-836-1574 - Logistics manager of this body shop had a customer car at his house in South Richmond Hill on June 20 at approximately 4:45 pm. His kid brother backed out of the driveway into my car while I passed by which caused damages to the right side of my car. The cops were summoned and statements were given. My insurance company made numerous attempts to contact this person with no success. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you!

I had two bad experiences with this business. The first was last year when I was quoted $300.00 to tint the windows on my Toyota Land Cruiser and ended up being charged $330.00. I let that one slide because it was a big truck and went back to them to tint my new Camaro two weeks ago. The job came out horrible. It looks like they never cleaned the windows before applying the tint...there is dirt and bubbles trapped underneath. Not just a speck here and there but the entire freaking thing!!! I went back and asked them to fix the problem and they refused. They gave me some run around and said they cant do it because it wont look good and will ruin the car. This place is a rip off and I'm never going there ever again. I'm going to have this horrible tint job fixed by someone who actually knows what they are doing. BEWARE!!!

This guy is a liar and a thief. Uses cheap material, very very bad workmanship and only takes cash...had to have legitimate contractor fix everything this guy Ralph did...terrible work, not a legitimate contractor...works out of his car has no shop. Reported him to BBB... A few weeks ago I saw the guy doing cement work with teen aged kids doing the work, which they messed up really bad...never ever hire this guy...he is not legitimate contractor...
