I have been a customer for 19 years and always enjoyed great service for my brakes and mufflers. Always repaired on the first visit. Employees are very helpful and friendly and professional. Recently I bought a Acura Mdx and from day one it had a pull. I took to dealer many times, and didn't realize they sub the job out to Mavis next door to them. Once I realized I ran right to my old faithful. Rices automotive. The car was perfect after that...thank God for them.

They are amazing mechanics. I don't think anyone can ever match their experience. They hear one awkward sound from my car and they automatically know what is wrong with it without even opening it yet. And it's all done at reasonable price as well. Ask for Albert. He's the best.

L & J Motors is the only auto repair shop in Jersey that has worked on my Bimmer since bringing it over from California. I'm very picky in regards to who works on my cars, but I find this place--like another reviewer--to be reliable and honest in their services. Great customer service... Broke down on the Turnpike, limped off exit 12. As soon as I got off i saw an AAMCO sign across the street. I stopped in at 4:30 in a panic. They checked the car and told me I needed a water pump. They ordered the parts and stayed 90 minutes past closing to wait for the parts and get me on the road. I really appreciate the staff at AAMCO staying to help me out. Car ran great the whole way home. Adam Treiber

Shawn and his crew addressed all of this repair and reviewed in detail what all of the expenses were prior to my commitment to doing the work. Any questions I had were answered immediately and if there were any unforeseen issues, I was assured via phone calls that the right job would be done. They have made me feel secure in that both myself and my family would be safer after this repair. My car rides and steers as good as it did when I first bought it. I am a long time customer, the last 12 + years, and I will keep coming back because they completed the work within 1 day after making an scheduled appointment.

I moved into the area recently and am looking for a local shop whom I can trust and not worry about being taken for a "ride", I am happy to say that I found one in Carracino's. Family owned/operated business, very friendly people makes you feel at home, they don't try to push stuff on you will give the recommended work, good pricing, will drop and pick you up if you live close by which I think is really nice of them. They are very knowledgeable of the work they do. totally recommend them.

15 years go I found Sonny's shop in Nassau with a parking lot full of Porsches. I was very glad to find such an honest and dependable mechanic, especially since servicing these cars is usually expensive. He has always done the right thing for me, and is reasonably priced considering his skill level and the cars he works on. I went away for a few years to go to school, get married, and have kids, and was very pleased to see him still in business! I am fairly new to New York. You hear often the stereotypes of a dog-eat-dog world. So looking for a mechanic, and honesty, is not an easy task. However, I was in a jam and needed to find one. I came across the reviews for Hughes Motor Corp, and I was immediately impressed to make a call. Vinny answered (he's part of a duo with Kevin). He was very friendly and assuring when I told him about the problems with my Durango. I had AAA tow the car to their workshop in Yonkers. These guys are professional, efficient, and you get your car back within the time frame that is estimated. Overall, I highly recommend this workshop, they are a great team. They will take care of your problems and put you at ease. Cars are expensive toys, what you hope to get is a decent repair job at a fair price. These guys provide both, you'll be in good hands. Until Car Doctors moved into the neighborhood, I ALWAYS regarded car mechanics with a deep sense of dread and skepticism. Dee Knight is the definition of excellent customer service, and his personable crew of employees are the direct opposite of the duplicitious car mechanic stereotype. My sister had new tires installed yesterday 12/14. She picked up the car today 12/15 and on the way home her left front wheel flew off. We called the police so they could see what happened. Apparently those morons forgot to tighten the lug nuts. Obviously there's damage to the car. The brake rotor , fender, wheel studs etc. I've know this idiot for a long time. Trust me when I tell you the excuses are going to fly. He never owns up to anything and it's always someone else's fault. If you still go there after you read this it's your own fault.
