We are long term former residents of East Meadow and had used Hy Grade Auto Body in the past. We were back in NY for a visit over the Christmas holiday and were in a jam because of a minor accident. We brought our car to Hy Grade on Friday afternoon and needed it fixed that day since we were driving home to Florida that weekend. Justin suggested that we leave the car for a few hours for him to look at. He called us back at 3 PM to say the car was ready. When we picked up the car, it was as good as new. Justin saved the day! Our daughter was recently involved in a motor vehicle accident. We called our mechanic, who immediately recommended Cannon Collision, and advised us to speak with Paul. We contacted Paul immediately, who said that he would gladly take a look at the vehicle. After bringing the car down, Paul went over the entire car with a fine tooth comb. I mean, this guy's thorough. I felt immediately at ease, for his expertise and his respectful tone proved to me that he was definitely a class act. Paul was in touch with us consistently from day one. He even offered to give us a lift to the rental car company, and even contacted a few for us while we were in his office. When we went down to pick up the car today, I couldn't believe what I saw - the car looked like it just pulled off the showroom floor! Our vehicle is 11 years old, and it hasn't looked that good in YEARS! The entire car was completely detailed, inside and out, and my daughter even commented that she loved how clean the car was! The entire experience, which could have been horrific, was smooth from the get-go. Paul and all the guys at Cannon Collision made this experience so much easier. The car handles really well now, and all work is 100% guaranteed. Paul said that no vehicle that ever leaves his shop is unsafe, which rested my mind as a parent. Scammers run far away they act nice to get your money then leAve your car on the street 6 days NO WORK DONE then they talk shit to you about not including extra damage for insurance to Cover I am disgusted and I urge you to not go there if professionalism is what your looking for you will NOT find it here

My car was impaled by a 7 foot 3x3 post at 70 mph on the LIE, crumpling my roof and shattering my windshield and damaging some of the interior. Steves did a phenomenal job, head to toe. My car came out beautiful, and he even vacuumed, cleaned the dash with armor-all, and put a new interior light in the car. He also dealt with the Insurance Company directly and handled everything. I literally dropped the car off and picked it up when I was done. So happy I went to Steve to get my car bodywork done. And no, I did not know Steve beforehand. He came as a referral from my babysitter. I would recommend him to anybody.
