Brake repair service near Pomona, NY

Took my car in for four new tires. Was told an hour. Over two and a half hours later, paid and headed home. On reviewing the work in the daylight, no caps were installed on three of the new valves. I couldn't tell if there was a cap on the fourth valve because they had hammered on the hubcap over it....... On further inspection I found that all of the wheel balance weights had been left only partially tapped on, and that they had up to four weights in the space of only eight inches or less along the rim. It looked as though they just kept adding them on. Took the car there and they said they'd put on valve caps and re-balance the tires. The desk guy came over in the middle of the redo and said very happily"the balance was only a little off". Okay, well that means that it was off, right???? I leave the place again in the dark and reinspect the van the next day in the light. Two caps on the tire valves fit, and two other caps that were too small were jammed just on the tips of the other two new valves???? The new tire weights were also not fully installed and masses of them clumped around the rims. I think this place just wants to wear you down so you get sick of going back complaining. I mean really, Two trips and they can't even put caps on the new tire valves??????? This place is awful. Two other customers there complaining in the two times I was there. Stay away, they're clueless and hope you are as well.

The guys at Cybert are honest and very easy to deal with. I've had shops in the past play games with me (halogen fluid replacement, etc.), but at Cybert, they brought me out into the shop, showed me what was going on, explained the fix, and then fixed it. There was nothing shady and I never once felt like they were trying to take advantage of me. They have a convenient location, reasonable hours, and surprisingly good coffee while you wait.
