Auto inspection service near Tarrytown, NY

I have had my car fixed at this shop numerous times. I would recommend them to anyone. It is always difficult to find a repair shop where you trust the people who are servicing your car...This is that place! They tell it like it is. No unneeded services or surprise extras when you go to pay the bill. To be fair, I had one uncomfortable situation arise with them. However, I was the one that made them uncomfortable (long story I wont bore you with) and once it was explained (professionally I might add), the situation was corrected and I continue to have my car serviced there. I absolutely love JC. They've provided consistent, reliable service for my car since I moved to the area. They have saved me tons of money- typically in situations where my dealership tries to upsell an unnecessary service not warranty covered. Recently, they looked at a used dealer car I was interested in buying- and found a few potentially costly issues with the vehicle, that were then taken care of by the dealer. They wouldn't take a cent from me for their time. Don't hesitate to use this wonderful, family run auto service.

This place is a rip off. I went in for an oil change and was charged an extra $10.50 to "top off my fluids". I can even deal with that...but it gets worse...they also charged an additional $10.00 to reset the dummy light in my car. Seriously. That is absolutely unheard of! What a rip! When I questioned the owner he was as rude as a human could be. Save yourself the hassle and go to valvoline down the street!

My brand new Lincoln had just been driven over a small landslide caused by heavy rains. I had two flat tires and a ruined front wheel and was 300 miles from home. AAA sent Armonk Garage to help me and I was very pleased with the service. The truck arrived on time, picked up the car, my wife and I and then found the nearest Lincoln dealer. Although the dealer was some distance away the driver took us there, unloaded the car interfaced with the service people and did not charge us. He was helpful, courteous, and sympathetic. He made a bad situation much better. Thanks.

Scott is a fantastic auto mechanic! So thankful i found this shop. Scott diagnosed my honda element and isolated the transmission problem. He backed me up and got honda to install a new transmission for free. I am forever a THE GARAGE customer and tell all my friends and family.

I am fairly new to New York. You hear often the stereotypes of a dog-eat-dog world. So looking for a mechanic, and honesty, is not an easy task. However, I was in a jam and needed to find one. I came across the reviews for Hughes Motor Corp, and I was immediately impressed to make a call. Vinny answered (he's part of a duo with Kevin). He was very friendly and assuring when I told him about the problems with my Durango. I had AAA tow the car to their workshop in Yonkers. These guys are professional, efficient, and you get your car back within the time frame that is estimated. Overall, I highly recommend this workshop, they are a great team. They will take care of your problems and put you at ease. Cars are expensive toys, what you hope to get is a decent repair job at a fair price. These guys provide both, you'll be in good hands.
