01 chevy truck lost overdrive. Quoted $1000. Didnt hear anything for 2 weeks, then says its done and it cost $2800! No warning or chance to make that decision what so ever. Reluctantly paid and left with a lousy 6 month warranty. 7 months later trans goes out an hr from home. He says "welp, warranty's out". Says part broke not his problem. Tried to say it was the way i drive? This as a work truck.

I took in my mustang to have a costom exhaust done i was happy with the idea they had but i was abit upset when i had to wait 2 weeks for parts, the parts were terrible quality for the price ( i paied over $100 for a pipe that was advance auto parts quality crush bent junk pipe) then after its all installed they put it on diffrently then discussed so my dual exhaust works as a single exhaust because of the h pipe being angled to favor one side and it all leaks horribly and the pipe keeps hitting the body and axle i am very dis satafied with the shotty work and cheap parts used when i paied over $700 for a job a student mechanic could of done better

Very professional folks! They saved me over $700 after Broadway Transmission misdiagnosed the problem with my transmission. I would recommend these guys to anyone. Fast, cheap and accurate! They also repaired some minor cosmetic problems at no extra cost.

December 30, 2020, my wife and I were on our way to North Carolina to visit our daughter. About 180 miles into our trip our alternator burnt out. Because I thought the issue was a faulty battery, I called AAA for a battery service. The tech determined the alternator was the issue. She could not recommend a nearby mechanic and said we'd be hard pressed to get service given the New Years holiday. Not being from the Carlisle, PA area, we decided to conduct a Google search and found T&M Automotive was about a 1/2 mile away. Turns out they are a AAA approved shop. Go figure why the AAA tech didn't know them! We spoke with Henrik who agreed to help us out. They were amazing!!! Henrik was able to get the required part, had his tech install it, test drove it and got us back on the road 3 hours later. The price was very reasonable and the service was excellent. They could have easily charged us more and we would have had to pay it given our situation. If you live in the Carlisle area, I highly recommend you use T&M Automotive for your car care. they changed the transmission on my suburban. just under a year we had problems with the transmission still under warranty. they gave us a hard time about honoring the shoddy work they did. They adjusted the gearbox and sent us away. the tranny blew and screwed up the engine with it.I won't bring a bigwheel to those hacks to fix.

Was searching for a 2012 VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI online and saw Huber's listed on the USAA and Carguru websites. Only problem was it was almost 2 hours away! The car's pictures, description and detail on the website made me give them a call. Eric Reder filled me in on the details over the phone and stressed how much work they put into the car before putting it on the lot. I was surprised to hear that because the car only had 36,000 miles on it! He also said that the car looks better in person than in pictures (he was right!). I drove out and met with Eric Huber and immediately hit it off with him- we are both VW guys. The car looked showroom condition (my wife said several times she can't believe its not new) but Huber's went over the car and performed all of the 40,000 mile services on it. The car is only at 36,000 miles! The point is, I think they could have just vacuumed it, washed it, put 2 tires on it and put it for sale, but Eric explained that most of his customers come there for follow up service and if I came back for the next oil change at 40,000 miles and he hit me with VW's recommended 40,000 mile service charge, I would undoubtedly be P.O'd since I just bought the car. And he's right. Eric showed me the list of all the work performed and gave me a copy for my records. Very impressed with that kind of thinking. Huber's is a full service car repair facility that also sells high quality used cars and they put good cars on the lot to keep their customers happy so they'll come back for service. Worked out well for me!

I called and they took my car quickly and did a great job on repairs. I was especially pleased when they told me my options. One fog light didnt work and they told me it may be better or lower cost if I have them disconnected since I never used them and they interfered with the inspection. also the price was reasonable and that is nice for a Volvo. I will take all my mechanic needs to this shop. the people are very nice.
