THESE GUYS ARE HONEST & VERY RELIABLE. THEY FIXED MY SUBARU AND GUARANTEED THE WORK. THE WAITING AREA & SHOP ARE IMMACULATE. THEY EVEN HAVE WII FII AXCESS. I COULD WORK WHILE I GOT MY CAR FIXED. THANKS

I took my car in for a noise while it was in gear. They told me I needed a new transmission. After they installed it my car was still making the same noise. Bob said it needed an "adjustment and needed my car an extra day. Major inconvenience! When asked what adjustment was needed he was very vague and never did tell me. A year later my car was making the same noise. I took it to another mechanic who said it was not the transmission and a simple cooling system repair fixed the problem! The cost of replacing the transmission was $3,000.00. The cost to fix the cooling system was $20.00. I was ripped off for $3,000.00! Stay away from this shop, I wish I would have read all the bad reviews online about this guy before going there! Had to choose one star, should be negative 100 stars!

I have had John maintaining my autos and trucks for many years. I am 40 minutes away now and still have all my work done by John at Angel Car Care. He has found solutions that the dealer and others could not find. I drive the distance for expert, honest, and fairly priced service. I had a boat engine that sounded off and had John listen to it. He said it was the timing chain and should be replaced asap. As it was under warrantee I took it to the dealer and they said nothing was wrong. Six weeks later I was dead in the water and it was the timing chain. You will be pleased with the service you get at Angel Car Care.

I have always been thoroughly satisfied with Precision Engine each time I have visited to have my cars assessed and fixed. Frank worked on my 2000 wagon this time. He did an excellent job. Car runs very nicely and was fluttering and blowing blue smoke when I brought it in! Dustin worked on my 1971 classic car and is also an excellent mechanic. I feel very fortunate to have Precision Engine nearby.

SCAMMERS and THIEVES. Called reception asked “how much to change break pads, labor only because I have Autozone pads” was told $130. Told them I’ll be there in 40min, male reception said OK. Come there, wait an additional 30 minutes, the male receptionist finally shows up, gets my car or the lift and I wait another 30 minutes. Receptionist finally gives me the bill breakdown, mind you they haven’t even started on the car, with price tag of $160 for FRONT break pads and another $160 for BACK break pads, with mandatory purchase/installation of THEIR OWN front rotors. I tell them “over the phone I was quoted $130, and I’ll be back in 10 minutes with my own front rotors.” At that moment the receptionist FREAKS OUT. He starts screaming at me and my 70 year old mother, saying stuff like “YOU PEOPLE” and “PEOPLE LIKE YOU” (racist much?) “always do this, I can’t stand you, maybe I don’t even want to do this job”. So I said no worries, I’ll go elsewhere. He began arguing with me, called me stupid for not knowing I needed rotors, said he’s been “in the (scamming?) business for many years” so I stood there politely listening to his nonsense, and then said “I just want to mention that I failed state inspection 3 days prior, for the reason of “low break pads”. He got embarrassed, turned red and stopped talking. He charged me $60 for putting the car on the lift, oh and when I was leaving, one of the mechanics “conveniently forgot” to put back in my car a brand new car part “Tie Rod End” that I also purchased at Autozone to be changed at a later time. Did he forget, or did he steal and was hoping we won’t notice? You decide. Thanks for reading.

Made my day! With 3 kids I have no extra time or $ to spare. My car wouldn t start and I had get to work. I called around and was told I should try to get a jump. No one was available and I was stuck. I called T.C. Tire & Auto and the mechanic came to my house jump started my car. He checked out my car and told me I needed a battery. The whole process from call to repair was an hour! The price was explained honestly and fair. I am more than happy and thankful.

I must say that the folks at Meiser's go above and beyond in the areas of customer service, and quality work. We came to The Reading/Topton area of Eastern Pennsylvania to visit family in the nursing home in Topton. We needed to get a family car inspected, but only had Friday to do this (we live in Ohio, and needed to return on Sunday). During the inspection, it was discovered that the car had a bad shock absorber. We were in a bind, as the area dealership could not get the car in on Friday afternoon to fix the issue. I called Meiser's to see if they could get the shocks in, and install them on the car. They called to make sure they could get the parts, and were able to get the car in to install them on Friday afternoon. One of the employees even loaned us a car so we could visit with family at the nursing home while our car was being worked on. This was MORE than over and above the call of duty, and gave us additional time with family that we would have missed out on but for her kindness. We would recommend Meiser's to anyone looking for quality auto work, and excellent customer service!

They built a transmission for my son't 96 firebird. They shipped the transmission to the shop in Evansville, Mike's transmission to be put in his car. The tranny didn't have 1st gear. They have pciked up the bad transmission they sent out but have not sent a new one and have told us they don't know if they will cover expense until they look at the first one they sent. My son's car has been sitting at Mike's transmission for 7 weeks. My son works hard for his money as he is a young man still in school. As a parent it is hard to see your son get ripped off. I have seen other reviews where they have fixed problems in a timely manner but this is not timely and they are not doing right by their customer. I am so frustrated! I feel like I let my son down. After all the great reviews I am stumpped at this. My husband is furious and is calling them again today to check and see what is going on. I will post results. In my opinion my son should get the expense of removing the bad tranny and a discount or even payment of putting the correctly built one in as a token of apology for the aggravation. I understand things can go wrong and I am not mad at the first tranny not being made right just at the way it is being so poorly handled. I guess they have so many customers they don't have to care about the little 16 year old boy working after school every day to get his dream car fixed up. Gina Hertel, Princeton, IN
