Brake repair service near Palmyra, PA

There's a front desk guy name Jeff K that works at Camp Hill Tireplus, he probably has the worst customer service skills I've ever experienced. He not only has no clue what he's doing, he does nothing to serve the customers. I've been there a few time with friends and each time he is there, we have had a horrible experience with him. Today we were waiting for one particular service from him and instead of telling us what's the next step, knowing that we were waiting on the counter, I saw him take his lunch, went to his car and drove off. I can give you more examples but I already wasted 6+ hours today there for nonsense. I have no idea how be was able to obtain the job in the first place. We left disappointed each time with him so I will never come back here again and will not recommend it to anyone else either. I don't care if you're gonna publish this review or not but, someone has to talk to this guy and teach him some customer service skills/lesson.

Terrific service at a fair price and friendly

Great place Jim and Jody hooked us up on a friday while driving to a campground and our check engine light came on. Did a google search and found them. It was a o2 sensor that came up on the computer. Got replaced in a half and hour and we were on our way. 9 months later still no light and the truck gets better gas mileage. We price checked with the dealership and it was half the price than what they wanted. This garage is mechanicsburg's best keep secret. I take all of our cars there now. I just had my exhaust replaced on my pickup truck here at the Meineke Car Care Center in Ephrata Pa 17522 and I must say, I've had a lot of exhaust work done on many cars in my day and this place topped them all. Was searching for a 2012 VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI online and saw Huber's listed on the USAA and Carguru websites. Only problem was it was almost 2 hours away! The car's pictures, description and detail on the website made me give them a call. Eric Reder filled me in on the details over the phone and stressed how much work they put into the car before putting it on the lot. I was surprised to hear that because the car only had 36,000 miles on it! He also said that the car looks better in person than in pictures (he was right!). I drove out and met with Eric Huber and immediately hit it off with him- we are both VW guys. The car looked showroom condition (my wife said several times she can't believe its not new) but Huber's went over the car and performed all of the 40,000 mile services on it. The car is only at 36,000 miles! The point is, I think they could have just vacuumed it, washed it, put 2 tires on it and put it for sale, but Eric explained that most of his customers come there for follow up service and if I came back for the next oil change at 40,000 miles and he hit me with VW's recommended 40,000 mile service charge, I would undoubtedly be P.O'd since I just bought the car. And he's right. Eric showed me the list of all the work performed and gave me a copy for my records. Very impressed with that kind of thinking. Huber's is a full service car repair facility that also sells high quality used cars and they put good cars on the lot to keep their customers happy so they'll come back for service. Worked out well for me!

I find the first person who commented on this site to be quite a strange analysis considering I have looked at many of the sites to inquire whether or not to take my car to this establishment. NO other person who did a customer satisfaction rating said anything but great things about this company. To call them crooks is a ridiculous and unmerited statement, to say the least. They have been so kind and honest with every repair that I have had there. Just ask the customers in the waiting room. They treat everyone like family. If you had so much confidence in your BMW mechanic than why did you not take it there? For anyone who wants an honest garage with HONEST mechanics skip over the first comment and read all of the others, then decide for yourself who you would agree with. I say all of the five stars out rate the one star. Give them a try.

Best prices, and great staff at sears autocenter in lancaster is why i am a returning customer. Mike is a great help every time i visit the shop, he is always very knowlegable about vehicles and treats customers the way they should be treated. Mike is the reason that i will always be thier customer!

I took my car here for a yearly inspection. The waiting room is very small and full of paint fumes. After an hour they said there was a problem with my rear parking break actuator. They said it would cost $80 to fix. I was very suspicious of this because I do all my own maintenance on my cars. We walked out to the shop and I asked them what the problem was. They could not explain or show me the problem. I said I wasn't going to pay them $80 for this repair and take it off the lift. I took my car to another shop and it passed with no problems. Be very suspicious of this business and always get a second opinion.
