Was told my head gasket needed to be change I decided to get a second opinion come to find out my car had no coolant or oil I wasn’t told that when I left yall shop even tho the car was tested costed me 146.00 for testing but come to find out my radiator was crack down the middle

He won my business about 4 years ago and I keep bringing him more, with good reason. I've been able to count on Chip and team to keep my car going. He stands behind his work and you can count on him to not lead you astray or feed you a line. I have sent my mother to him several times, now, if that can tell you anything! I think of him as extended family and also value his work. Chip, Donnie, Scott, and all are the guys you want for your auto repair.

Chris is a good friend and does the best work on my vehicles. Does whatever it takes to do the job right and testing things on my car no halfway no rigging things to get by job done right, working after hours for people to get your car finished on time you need it. If you need a car done right Chris is the best in the county to get it done for you goes the extra mile for his people to help you out. Doesn't care what the job is on your vehicle Chris can get it done for the right price. Chris and his dad and his uncle worked on my dads vehicle years ago before my dad past away has all ways had super service done on vehicles. Accidentally locked the keys in the truck when traveling from TX to PA at the Shell station in Abingdon, VA. Called Dodge roadside assistance for help and within 10 minutes, Steve from Eades came to our rescue and was able to unlock our truck so we could continue our travels back to PA. Excellent quick service and Steve was very nice! Definitely deserve this 5 star review! Kris F.

I've taken my car to Cowan's for the last 15 years. The service is always prompt, courteous and proffesional. Their prices are fair and the work is always top notch. I recommend them to everyone who needs auto repair.

We needed an emergency tire and TPMS replacement on our 2018 Chevrolet Volt while travelling in the United States. The Mr. Tire location on Blowing Rock Road in Boone NC could not get the replacement TPMS to work on our original visit May 1, 2023 or when we returned the next day. We were promised a refund for the TPMS part that was installed, but we haven't got it yet. They also failed to return our wheel locks. We had to spend over $300 at our local mechanic when we got home to fix the problems. UPDATE: After some time, we did receive a refund for the TPMS part installed by Mr. Tire. After leaving this review, we were contacted by Mr. Tire's parent corporation, Monro, who said that they were sending us a refund for the wheel locks that were not returned to us and the work that our mechanic had to do to remove them. They refused to pay for the work our mechanic had to do to get the TPMS system working again when we returned home. He told us that Mr. Tire had not programmed the replacement TPMS that they installed to the correct frequency for our vehicle. We're not happy with this company's response to this issue.

I had my 95 chevy suburban oil changed and plugs changed and also my door handle put back. Mike Nelson is a very good mechanic that is ase certified and his prices are very reasonable. Will definatly be calling again in future when need more work done

I have taken my Kia Sportage to Ponder only a few times.Both times the people have treated me kindly and the work has been great. They have given me a ride back to my home each time. This last time the repairs on my vehicle were much more than I had expected and Bob told me about the NAPA 6 months no interest credit card which helped me with the cost. Melissa was extremely helpful when it was discovered that some of the repairs were caused by something that had been done by the previous repair shop that did work on my engine. She took it upon herself to contact the other shop and work with them on the cost which saved me $300. This was such a gift to me and I am totally grateful for this. I will continue to take my Kia to Ponder and will be a lifelong customer.
