Coyote Engine rebuilt a diesel 6.4L

No starts wasn’t an option!! My car broke down while traveling down 35E on a Sunday and it happened to be next to that shop-so I had it towed there since I live 4 hours away!!! So I call Monday morning to see if it can even be fixed...I get a quote and say ok...after all that work is done there’s more so I allow that as well...so a few days go by and it’s now Wednesday morning so I call to see if it’s ready and they say yes so I op in my rental and head that way...I arrive around 1:30 and the car isn’t ready bc it had started to overheat again so I wait at restaurant until they call at 4 to tell me it’s good to go...I don’t even make it all the way out of Dallas before it starts to overheat but by then they’re closed...so I park on the side of the highway for it to cool for about 30 mins and take off...well I made it for an hour then it died on me in Georgetown which is still another hour and a half from my home-and I ended up not eleven getting home until 1:30am bc I had someone come get me! I call them today about a refund and was basically told to go fuck myself...I don’t understand how someone can take your last $1000 to fix a car that you had already told them you weren’t sure if it was fixable or not and be ok with themselves...I would’ve rather them told me it has too many problems to be fixed-bc now I’m out $1000, no car, and wasted an entire day-I have never been so disappointed in my entire life!

My car over heated so my husband took it at this place which was a bad move because the mechanic named Adam called us and said that my radiator was bad he quoted about 650 dollars to fix it i immediately called back saying the price was too high and told them not to fix it and that i would pay 75 dollars for the diagnostic fees I think I ticked him off by saying that cause he said he was going to charge me 325 dollars for the 5 minutes of nothing he did to my car, so I rush to the store and confront him saying why was he charging me 325 for 5 minutes , he looked all nervous and told me he was going to take the 125 dollar off and would charge me the standard price which was 200 dollars, I was really mad so i paid the money and stormed off. I never write reviews , but yes I do read them it helps me a lot so I am just writing this so you guys can think before hand do some research call other places and then decide where you want to take your car to get it fixed, because i got ripped off by this place. I used to always get my oil changed from the Kwik Kar franchise but never again I learned my lesson the hard way ...btw I got my car fixed for half the price ..Goodluck

I was blown away. Chris was the gentleman that came out to look at my brakes on a Lexus IS250. I have a squeaking noise that happens at the end of the breaking. I was prepared to spend what their quote told me I was going to spend which was a great price to begin with. After he looked at my car, he stated a brake job was not needed. He did state that the reason there was a squeaking noise was due to the rotors on the front had a groove in them due to they should have been replaced when the brakes were done. He stated that I had up to a year left on the pads and that he would recommend waiting until then to do so. He did not want to make me spend my hard earned money until I had to to fix the problem. I have never had a repairman tell me not to do work to my car. Fair, Honest, and punctual. I will call these guys when it is time to do my brakes in the future. They looked out for my interest not just theirs. Rare in today's world.

Dave and the guys there always service all of my 6 vehicles from new daily vehicles to several classic muscle cars. They are honest, locally owned and fair priced. There is a one star rating on here that references a completely different shop so ignore the rating for Dallas Car Care, but read it to know where not to go. THESE GUYS ARE HARD TO BEAT. 100% recommend them.

Otis did a great job detailing our car which had long needed some attention and care after many years being parked outside in the sun. He did a wonderful job on cleaning the interior and made the outside look like it had just come from the showroom. Otis was is very careful and thorough in his work, and went above and beyond our expectations to clean every corner of the car. It has been two days and we are still finding pleasant surprises of places where he spent extra time and detail to clean the interior. I would very highly recommend Otis and plan to have him detail both our cars again in the future.

My car was shaking terribly and firestone quoted me like $1200 for "engine repair". I took it to Manny at us auto and they pretty quickly saw that a vaccum line was out and fixed it in like 15 minutes. He didn't even charge me. He could have taken advantage of me but he didn't. Straight up honest.

I HAD 2 CAMARO MOTORS 2ss REBUILT AND THEY DIDNT DO THE JOB CORRECTLY AT ALL MY CAMARO STILL RUN HOT AS OF RIGHT NOW I PAID THEM ON TWO MOTORS IN ALL 15,000 AND NEITHER MOTOR IS WORTH IT DAVID IS NOT A GOOD RIGHT HAND MAN BAD HORRIBLE COURTESY NOT POLITE AT ALL ANGEL THE MECHANIC AND BOSS ONLY PERSON THAT MIGHT HAVE SOME KNO HOW BUT THEY DONT STAND BEHIND THERE WORK AT ALL THEY WILL MESS YOUR CAR UP THIS IS NOT A GOOD PLACE TO GO GET A CAR FIXED HORRIBLE WORK DIFFERENT MECHANIC WORKING ON CAR AND QUITTING THEN UR CAR MESS UP OH NOT THERE FAULT DONT GO TO THIS ENGINE REBUILDERS ON IRVING,TX THEY NO GOOD RIP OFF

I have been using Sandor's Overseas for years, and there is nobody else out there I would trust with my volkswagon. Any time I go to the dealership, they would quote me outrageous prices and recommended unreasonable repairs. I only go to Attila for my repairs now, and his honest workmanship is an A+. The prior negative review must be from somebody who is totally confused or wants to get something for nothing. SANDORS OVERSEAS IS THE BEST PLACE IN THE DFW.

These people are scum. They are dishonest. They regularly post ads on craigslist lying about 'free towing' with repairs. I was charged twice for towing, even with a $2700 invoice! What they DON'T mention in these ads are the hidden fees, how they will TAKE YOUR TITLE and hold it as a ransom so that you'll either be forced to pay their high prices(including issues that they 'magically find' later, so that they can charge you more), or you'll lose your care. The idiots that work there...they will lie to you right in your face. They are rude and use bully tactics to scare customers. Their communication is poor, I always had to call them to see if my then car was fixed. Once I called and the 'finance agent' made up a lie saying my car wasn't ready because it was being 'test driven'. When I finally got the car after being 'fixed' and it died 10 minutes later, she said the car was never test driven, they simply got the car to start...who does that? The owner avoided me and my calls after that, leaving me to deal with his meathead tow guy/mechanic who was just as bad, assuring me that he'd work with me if I took down my negative bbb review and/or admit the problem was on my end...which I foolishly did even though I knew this place was full of it. I asked if my car was good, he assured me it was, only for me to pay $416 the next day and as soon as I got in the car, I saw a check light and the gas gauge(which they refused to fix, despite initially saying everything was good with the car!) didn't work, leaving me to guess how much gas was in the car! I was charged a bogus $95 diagnostic, when I asked why the car still has a check light and why the battery light came on when it stopped the tow guy/'mechanic' told me he didn't know what caused it..how can you charge people for something you don't know how to fix? Read the reviews, ALL of them are negative. The only 'positive' reviews this ripoff place has are on are google, and they're obviously 5 star fake ones that read like an advertisement instead of being from an actual person. These people aren't honest, they actually had the nerve to flag my facebook review...as if they haven't messed me over already. Speaking of facebook, like how they post fake positive reviews on google, the people that like their facebook page actually work there! Too gutless to admit their own mistakes, lying on me when they finally gave me an invoice(that's AFTER I paid $900 and gave them my title!) saying I 'refused' mechanical repairs, lie after lie(they all lie), inflated prices, the owner told me over the phone and in person several times that specific issues with the car would be fixed, but he did nothing. What they tell you and what they actually do are 2 different things. They give you verbal commitments, while they'll lie on you on paper to protect themselves. This is why if you don't know about cars, you don't go to a place like this period, especially on your own, because they aren't honest. The awful tow guy that took my car had the nerve to ask me to bring him the key. DO NOT GO HERE. YOU WILL BE WALKING! Save your hard earned money and get a car with a warranty, take a bus...just don't go here.
