He was on time, got the job done quick and exceeded my expectations when he found and corrected a few other issues while completing his inspection. After using Wrench for the first time I can't see any reason to take my vehicle in to a shop for service or repairs ever again. Mike H.

Glad you take care of my car. One suggestion, If you check the filters before the customer leaves, or just ask the customer at that time, then they can authorize the work, for example, if the air filter is dirty please swap it out. Thanks Marc

I HAD MY TRUCK AT OPEN ROAD FOR LIFTER NOISE. IT WASN'T REAL BAD BUT I WAS CONCERNED. WHEN I GOT MY TRUCK BACK FROM OPEN ROAD THE NOISE WAS MUCH WORSE AND NOW I DONT DRIVE IT AT ALL. WHEN I PICKED UP MY TRUCK FROM OPEN ROAD I NOTICED THAT THE HEATER SWITCH WAS ON AND I TURNED IT TO THE OFF POSITION AND A POPPING NOISE STARTED UNDER THE DASH. IT NEVER HAD THAT PROBLEM BEFOR TAKING THE TRUCK TO OPEN ROAD. NOW I AM WITHOUT ANY TRANSPORTATION EXCEPT MY MOTORCYCLE AND IT IS NOW GOING TO COST ME THOUSANDS TO GET MY ENGINE FIXED BUT I SURE WON'T TAKE IT TO OPENROAD. SOMEONE FROM OPEN ROAD CALLED ME ABOUT MY COMPLAINT BUT NEVER SHOWED UP CHECK ON WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY TRUCK. SOMEHOW I FEEL GLAD THEY DIDNT SHOW UP. I wish I could give the idiots a negative amount of stars. The owner is the leader of the idiots. I have went here for the last 5-6 oil changes. This time is different because now I trust them to do an oil change and wheel alignments. I wait 2 hours for them to complete my services , when they are done I get into my car and leave. Once into my car I notice it’s hesitant and barely goes forward when I press the gas. Next thing I notice is my rear view, everything behind me is white. There is a ton of smoke coming from my tail pipe. I call them and I return heavily upset. This is my only vehicle. I bought it with 50k miles, I drive Uber for extra cash so I now have 220k but I’m always keeping the maintenance done in the car. The car is very well kept. New tires oil change brakes is all I ever change. I basically brought my car here normal and left with my car smoking and not going forward. The owner refuses to acknowledge my concerns. The mechanic who did the work acknowledged my concerns and also that it wasn’t smoking it had any issues when I brought it there but they wouldn’t let him check it out. The receptionist was very argumentative. Wouldn’t acknowledged how I felt about coming for a routine oil change ending with my car needing to be towed away because it wasn’t drivable. . The owner then says it’ll be 120$ to check out the issue that they caused. His also says ‘take me to civil court and let them take care of it because I’m not fixing it.’ I called the police and was told to leave and it’s a civil issues. Please save yourself the time and money in the long run by dealing with a reputable car repair shop. Update : they put 10 quarts of oil in my vehicle and the car only takes 5 quarts.

This place is so unprofessional, dishonest, and rude. They told me they do diagnosis for $29.99 but charged me for $70 instead. Their reason is that i turned down the first price the first time. That does not make any sense. Also they did not clarify that $70 is the regular price. It is so cheap to make business like that. So make a low price just to attract customers but charge them extra when they actually go there? Just give me the original price, don't play any games. I would still go there to check my car because it is still cheaper than dealers. Now after all these dishonest act, i will never go to this place, same goes to EVERYONE that I know. When i confront them, they gave me rude attitude and saying come back another day if i want to keep on arguing or robbing the place??! No body is going to rob you, YOU robbed me!! what an attitude. I am not a complaining person but this is so unprofessional and this is not how you do business for what i know. So Do not ever go there, it is the last place on this earth that you will go for your car. Actually, cross that off, i would rather let me car die on the road than take my precious car to that damn place.

My skid control light came on on my 2014 Mercedes. Did not want to go to the Dealer so the local auto parts store in Webster recommended Gulf Coast Auto. I called them and scheduled an appointment, Wow nice shop, good crew and no run-around. Turns out wit was no biggy, in and out in less then a day for a fair price.

We took our 2005 ford focus to them to get repaired. I explained very clearly that I wanted the vacuum purge pump installed along with a pcv valve, change the oil and filter and replace the injectors. Also to make sure the vacuum hoses were correct and to install a new gasket kit on the intake. I was told I had a bad fuel rail pressure sensor and that was the cause of the problem. They replaced it, THEN was told it was a bad catalytic converter. I replaced that. They did not change the injectors but said they did on receipt. They did not change all the intake gaskets like I requested. They did not change the oil filter, and kept the one I provided. They were going to keep my injectors until I asked about them. I was told they have no way of figuring out the vacuum routing except from the pic under the hood. I'm not 100% sure they changed the oil, as it is dirty. Now I am told to replace injectors. They seem to just want to replace parts without finding out the root cause of WHY they need replacing. Dishonest. I now have over $400 in parts I didn't need and $200 in their labor and the car is exactly the same, if not worse. GO ELSEWHERE!!

So I had my coil cracked for my spark plug case. Told them that's what it was because I could see the crack. So they spend 8 hours looking at other stuff. I get back in my car and now it's stalling. I can smell burning. Oh, did I mention they kept cranking and cranking my car over and over and now the check engine light is on. Yeah. So for two months, I keep emailing and going to get it fixed and they keep adding something different is wrong with it. Also, they fired their whole staff after my incident and so now they keep saying it wasn't them who worked on my car. So I go to a friend at GM and he says it could be two things. We change a few things out that he thinks they might try and pull and they did! So I tell them no, that's not it. They say nothing is wrong. So I email and a district manager calls and starts calling me a liar and an idiot and telling me I don't know anything. Never go there. Ever. They flushed my coolant and forgot to put the cap on and I found out after 5 hours of driving to another city. They forgot to put oil in my car after a change. Just don't go. Not worth it.

Just had some repairs done to my 2008 Ford Diesel. I was quoted over a 1000.00 at another shop for repairs that were not even needed. Dorsett's saved me almost 350.00 dollars as the truck did not need what the other shop said it needed. These guys are VERY knowledgeable on diesels and the work was performed to my complete satisfaction! The staff is very friendly and I look forward to doing business with them in the future.

If i could give this particular franchise a star rating of zero i would. I walked in and there was not a line nor an employee at the point of sale so i patiently waited with a general understanding of how business works and i knew since the employee was not there he was most likely helping someone else which turned out to be the case and i have no problem with that. However once he started talking to me is when my irritation began. To describe his attitude i would say he was put off in talking to me. I tried to explain to this person the specifics of my situations and in the middle of doing so the telephone rings and what he did next I did not expect any normal human to do he took the call with only an abrupt “hold on” to me plus the hold on finger that mothers give young children who bother them while they are on the phone. I thought next well maybe he is just going to say something like please hold or i am sorry please hold i am the only one on the floor and i am with a customer but no he did not. I was standing there watching this guy talk on the phone for 10 – 15 minutes helping another customer to look up several cars worth of tires. By that time i was very irritated at how rude this employee was to a customers. However once he got off the phone things went from bad to worse.. I told him the year, make,model, and sub-model of my car. The first thing he does off the bat is try to push the top of the line tires on me which is understandable but he did not ask what i was looking for which happen to be expensive tires but a specific brand and model i was researching and checking local companies over online. Then he quoted me the tire price which blew me away 800 dollars , when other local competitors and another Discount Tire which was close to my college had quoted roughly 580 – 600 dollars. When i asked why the tire price was so high he told me that he HAD to sell the tires with a 4 TPMS rebuild kit which i had not requested on the quote, however even if
