Horrible experience that I’m sure you all are aware of. I was a long time customer since 2017 and after this experience I will not be back. CHECK WARRANTIES BEFORE YOU START WORK!!! Sandy is the only person that understood the shop made a mistake and was apologetic for it. Everyone else could have cared less that their mistake screwed me over and even tried to lie on my husband to cover their mistake. Very disheartening experience this time.

After my wheel alignment, I was told that I needed a camber kit, new struts, new shocks, and 2 new front tires. There was still negative camber on both front wheels and the steering wheel was off center. I took it to another place for a second opinion and they adjusted the camber and centered the steering wheel. I didn’t need a new camber kit, new struts, new shocks, or new tires.

Not meaning to complain, everything was aces with new battery installed, but I felt that the charge of $95. for diagnostics was rather unwarranted for essentially 1O mins of assessment as the pleasant and efficient lady at the service counter had loaned me the battery charge tester to bring home and test the battery at my home and I was determined that it was either the battery was unable to hold a charge or the alternator was faulty due to irregular output values. Thanks for the opportunity to comment.

The repairs to my car were not good the things that you supposedly fixed were not fixed my engine really knocks and it did not before you repaired it my heater works but it does not change levels this was something you were supposed to repair I need to come by and try and rectify this issueEspecially the knocking in my engine it really needs to be fixed

Battery drained and said the navegation system and radio were replaced and the navegation system is not working need disc to be downloaded and left back camera not working Left the battery compartent back seat of enclave open screws all over Waiting for this to be resolved

I’ve had good service from you in the past. Last service (oil/filter change) was way more ($$$) than the last. I checked with Auto Ck (Briar Frst) they quoted me $85-95 (8 qts of synthetic oil w/filter) Y’all-$148.00–why??? Other private Auto Shop-quoted $75 Mike Jones Mr Mike Pest Control

I took my car in for a state inspection and the trunk brake light was out. They replaced it but now the cover for the light is hanging down like they didn't reattach it properly. I tried snapping it back in place but now it won't stay. It's loose. The car is old so I'm considering this a minor issue that I'm not that worried about. I've always had good service here at this AutoCheck so I don't want people to get the wrong idea and think they are not reputable because they are. They are good people and run an honest business. I just wanted to mention this so they can be aware.

I was informed that my Subaru needed two engine mounts and transmission mount replaced. I stated I wanted ONLY OEM MOUNTS INSTALLED. The service advisor (Rick) did not follow my directions and installed aftermarket parts without my knowledge. The car had vibrations after the install so I called to set an appointment for the car to be checked. When I arrived at the appointed time the mechanic that performed the work was unavailable. Another mechanic rode with me for a test drive did not notice the vibrations that I noticed (it is not his car and he is not familiar with it). This mechanic raised the car on the rack and I took photos of the engine mounts as the part numbers were clearly visible. I asked Rick again if these were OEM mounts and Rick again confirmed. I then took the car to the Subaru dealer (assuming OEM parts were installed) and was charged $140 for the diagnostic. The dealer recommended replacement of the engine mounts, so I investigated the parts further and discovered they were not OEM parts but aftermarket parts. I called the business again and Rick stated that the parts would not be under warranty as someone else had touched the car. He neglected to inform me again at this time that the parts were not OEM, but aftermarket. I called again the following day and spoke to Ralph who investigated and confirmed that the parts were aftermarket and agreed to order and install the OEM parts as I originally requested. After the OEM parts were installed the car performed properly. I called a few days after the install and Rick answered the phone. I asked to speak to Ralph, but Rick said he was familiar with the car and I could speak to him. I informed Rick I wanted a refund of the $140 diagnostic charge as I could have avoided this charge if he had followed my instructions and installed the correct parts the first time. Rick said there was nothing he could do about the charge. I will never return to this business again and it has soured my perception of independent mechanics in general. It is unfortunate because dealer repairs are expensive, but at least I will feel more confident that the repairs are done fairly and competently.

Brought car in for oil change. Was told that oil pan was stripped. Repair cost quoted at $1,021.36. Took it to dealer but was not covered under warranty, so went to nearby by service center. They installed "Perma" Coilin oil pan to repair drain plug. Oil Drain Plug plus thread insert plus shop supplies totaled 30.98. With labor and tax the total repair was $134.54, $886.82 less than your quote. I don't think that we will be back. No, make that I know that we will not be back. We will continue our search for a good, dependable, trustworthy local service center (unfortunately where it was repaired is not local). Auto Check First Colony is no longer being considered.

As always Ralph and hit team were able to get my Infiniti back on the road and make me a happy driver again. Never do I feel pressured or misled here. Ralph and his wife run an amazing shop and I will always bring them my cars to service when I can not.

Very Impressed by this Shop
We needed a State Inspection before leaving on a trip. Auto Check found several things that needed to be fixed (one of which that the Honda Dealer should have caught during routine service) and completed the work in a timely, cost effective, and professional way.
