Brake repair service near Cross Roads, TX

Before you go near this place, Google Bedford Just Brakes Complaints. Simple brake job cost my wife more than 1000 dollars because she was naive. Some things they did had nothing at all to do with the brake system. I promise to spend every evening for the next week posting this as many places as I can. I hope it saves you money.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!  I needed an alignment on my vehicle. Called a few places and the one that seemed to have a better deal was dfw frame and alignment. The alignment was quoted at around $60 which seemed pretty decent. Little did I know that after taking my car in to dfw frame and alignment, it quickly went from $60 to about $600 worth of work and repair. On top of that, it cost $42.50 just to tell me that.....  without having anything done to the car!! Diagnostic fees... It is posted on the counter top handwritten on a piece of paper. But unless your looking for it,  you wouldn't catch it. Nor do they go out of their way to let you know there is a diagnostic fee. They wouldn't do the alignment unless I first replaced my front tire. Otherwise it would void any type of warranty with the alignment service I was needing.  They stated that my front two axles would need to be replaced as well which would bring it up to about $600. But never once was it ever verbally discussed that just from them taking my keys and getting my car on a lift to find this out would cost me $42.50. The employee did state however, that if I were to come back to get my axles done the $42.50 wouldnt be charged again for the work...... But it would NOT be returned if I got the tire replaced and came back the next day to get just the alignment done.  I did clarify with dfw alignment that had I had good tires,  they would have gone through with the alignment and not charged me the diagnostic fee. Doesnt make any sense to me. Bottom line, had they been a more upfront that there would be a fee regardless of any work being done, I might have considered giving them a try. It just feels sneaky to me really set the character of the place. I'd personally be more loyal with my business to a place that doesn't try to outsmart you or always give you the upsale. just good quality and trustworthy service. I'm still looking for one. But dfw frame and alignment is definately out of that category in my book.

He will shop parts from different suppliers to find a deal, etc. then present all the options to you and he lets the customer decide. He has always been honest with me and never suggests extra work that doesn't truly need to be done. Never pushy. Always wants what is best for the customer's needs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

My car would not start, I thought it was a bad battery. They checked it out and said the battery was good - no need to waste money on a new battery. They found the problem (alternator), and fixed it the same day. Price was reasonable too.

I have a Porsche 911 turbo transmission that has a known defect. Porsche does not warrant the problem an according to them there is no fix. Their guidelines are to replace the transmission. 18,000 dollars. I found Joe and eurofix on a Porsche forum where another owner had his transmission fixed by them. I called Joe and he said he could repair my car. It is not easy to transport a car to mechanic 700 miles away but Joe's confidence and professionalism put me at ease. We all know how expensive service and maintenance fees can be at a dealership, that's why I recommend Bimmers Only. I took my 6 Series Convertible to them for a diagnostic test. I wanted peace of mind knowing that everything was functioning properly with my car as well as my car had no mobility kit. Not only did they check my car for me at no cost, but they also got a mobility kit (the right one that goes tucked away) for my car. The other thing that really stood out for me is that they know BMW's inside out and are very experienced and knowledgeable about them. I just had my BMW 750LI taken for diagnosis to Bimmer Repair. Its owner Jose is a young guy but very honest - which is a rare to find quality in auto repair work. My car was giving me a transmission failure message - he checked it , cleared all faults , and found nothing wrong with the system . Thoguh the car is still under monitoring to see if the issue comes back - Jose's upfront honesty is what touched me. I wish his great success in his newly started venture and he has got a customer in me for life!

My car was shaking terribly and firestone quoted me like $1200 for "engine repair". I took it to Manny at us auto and they pretty quickly saw that a vaccum line was out and fixed it in like 15 minutes. He didn't even charge me. He could have taken advantage of me but he didn't. Straight up honest.

I HAD 2 CAMARO MOTORS 2ss REBUILT AND THEY DIDNT DO THE JOB CORRECTLY AT ALL MY CAMARO STILL RUN HOT AS OF RIGHT NOW I PAID THEM ON TWO MOTORS IN ALL 15,000 AND NEITHER MOTOR IS WORTH IT DAVID IS NOT A GOOD RIGHT HAND MAN BAD HORRIBLE COURTESY NOT POLITE AT ALL ANGEL THE MECHANIC AND BOSS ONLY PERSON THAT MIGHT HAVE SOME KNO HOW BUT THEY DONT STAND BEHIND THERE WORK AT ALL THEY WILL MESS YOUR CAR UP THIS IS NOT A GOOD PLACE TO GO GET A CAR FIXED HORRIBLE WORK DIFFERENT MECHANIC WORKING ON CAR AND QUITTING THEN UR CAR MESS UP OH NOT THERE FAULT DONT GO TO THIS ENGINE REBUILDERS ON IRVING,TX THEY NO GOOD RIP OFF

Honest, did what they said they would do. I am a repeat, multiple year customer.

These people are scum. They are dishonest. They regularly post ads on craigslist lying about 'free towing' with repairs. I was charged twice for towing, even with a $2700 invoice! What they DON'T mention in these ads are the hidden fees, how they will TAKE YOUR TITLE and hold it as a ransom so that you'll either be forced to pay their high prices(including issues that they 'magically find' later, so that they can charge you more), or you'll lose your care. The idiots that work there...they will lie to you right in your face. They are rude and use bully tactics to scare customers. Their communication is poor, I always had to call them to see if my then car was fixed. Once I called and the 'finance agent' made up a lie saying my car wasn't ready because it was being 'test driven'. When I finally got the car after being 'fixed' and it died 10 minutes later, she said the car was never test driven, they simply got the car to start...who does that? The owner avoided me and my calls after that, leaving me to deal with his meathead tow guy/mechanic who was just as bad, assuring me that he'd work with me if I took down my negative bbb review and/or admit the problem was on my end...which I foolishly did even though I knew this place was full of it. I asked if my car was good, he assured me it was, only for me to pay $416 the next day and as soon as I got in the car, I saw a check light and the gas gauge(which they refused to fix, despite initially saying everything was good with the car!) didn't work, leaving me to guess how much gas was in the car! I was charged a bogus $95 diagnostic, when I asked why the car still has a check light and why the battery light came on when it stopped the tow guy/'mechanic' told me he didn't know what caused it..how can you charge people for something you don't know how to fix? Read the reviews, ALL of them are negative. The only 'positive' reviews this ripoff place has are on are google, and they're obviously 5 star fake ones that read like an advertisement instead of being from an actual person. These people aren't honest, they actually had the nerve to flag my facebook review...as if they haven't messed me over already. Speaking of facebook, like how they post fake positive reviews on google, the people that like their facebook page actually work there! Too gutless to admit their own mistakes, lying on me when they finally gave me an invoice(that's AFTER I paid $900 and gave them my title!) saying I 'refused' mechanical repairs, lie after lie(they all lie), inflated prices, the owner told me over the phone and in person several times that specific issues with the car would be fixed, but he did nothing. What they tell you and what they actually do are 2 different things. They give you verbal commitments, while they'll lie on you on paper to protect themselves. This is why if you don't know about cars, you don't go to a place like this period, especially on your own, because they aren't honest. The awful tow guy that took my car had the nerve to ask me to bring him the key. DO NOT GO HERE. YOU WILL BE WALKING! Save your hard earned money and get a car with a warranty, take a bus...just don't go here.
