My car was towed in to this shop . I chose this shop cause I use to work there when it was under different management (back when the short bald guy ran it) the mechanics then were dedicated to there jobs , and cared about DIAGNOSING OUR CUSTOMERS cars with precision and performed the service like professionals. When my 1989 trans am wss towed in I explained to sid the problems he began to assign his mechanic , guaranteeing it would be completed as I haad to return home to arkansas. The car had sit for three years with a full tank of gas (I just purchased said car) the first thing they said was distributer , then computer , next a short in the wiring and the next day still not finished I flew home .so three weeks later I returned to pick up my vehicle that they replaced the distributer and fuel pump and thats it onlyy now it would start but ran rough ii was frusterated at the whole situation I was forced to have to take vehicle back home the car was missing on four cylinders thats half so me being a mech .I got the car to my dads and began to notice a lot of vacuum hoses off time ran out so I loaded it on a trailer and came home the next day I began to work on it and found it needed a fuse and two injectors . After being CHARGED 1450.00 FOR A DISTRIIBUTER AND FUEL PUMP MY CAR SHOULD OF RAN LIKE IT WAS NEW..SID TOTALLY RIPPED ME OFF CAUSE I lIVED OUT OF STATE and it would be hard to get warranty work done !!!!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SHOP TO ANYONE FOR ANYTHIING IT HAS GONE DOWNHILL SINCE SID TOOK IT OVER !!!! TAKE SOME PRIDE IN UR BUISNESS .

This place is horrible! Do not use them. They didnt even change out the right hose that was suppose to be changed out and when I went back in because my car was making the same noise they said the hose they changed needed to be changed and there was nothing wrong with the noise my car was making, which turns out to be very wrong not only is it wrong it could damage my car if I continue to drive it that way. Long story short they didnt even try to right the wrong......

DO NOT take your vehicle here for repairs unless you know EXACTLY what needs to be fixed. Firestone will do whatever it takes to get your invoice to at least a $1,000 total. I took my car in to have tires rotated, oil changed and car looked at for rough idle. Firestone ran a diagnostic and said I needed new spark plugs (the car only has 76k miles!). On top of this they assured me that I was in dire need of front brakes and rotors, but that the back brakes looked good...I thought, wow, how nice that they were honest enough to not scam me into all brakes and rotors being replaced. I went ahead with changes and my bill came to a little over $1,600. I drove off, the car still idled rough. I went back and got the fuel injection cleaning, but it still did not seem right. Only after a few full tanks of Chevron gas w/Tektron did the car seem to run smoothly. (Because of this, I question whether the $800 for spark plug replacement was necessary). A few months later (and only a few thousand miles later at best) the check engine light came on. We took car to local Advance Auto Parts who obtained code for us free of charge. We took the car to Firestone, gave them the code and also asked them to take a look at a rattling noise coming from exhaust--the heat shield. Based on the code they said we needed a smoke test. Once test was done, we received a call from them stating we needed Solenoid and Fuel Cap replaced. They also said bill would be around $300. We said ok. Once solenoid work was done, we received another call from Firestone who strongly recommended replacing rear brakes, rotors and Axle seals! I said, let me guess, this will total about $1,000. They gave me break down and sure enough, $1,000. I told them no thanks, to only fix engine light problem. They proceeded to call us back 2 more times stating it was dire we had these additional repairs made. We smelled something fishy and kindly declined the recommendation again and again. I saw a car on their website and did an inquiry, I received a call back and was told to come in the test drive the car. I went and spoke with the salesperson (Michelle Palin) she seemed nice at that time. Well we spoke about my credit and decided that I would apply for financing so I did an online application the next day and I scanned and emailed all my personal check stubs and utility bills to her, she let me know that she received my documents. Well the next day I got an email from Michelle letting me know that so far this is what I was approved for and told her thanks for the update. So now 1 week has passed by, no response from anyone at this dealership, I sent an email asking what the status was on my loan approval, no response so I called to speak with Michelle I was told that she was not in, I called for about a week straight and no Michelle no call from the finance department. I finally sent an email on last Friday and Michelle claims that she was getting on a plane to come back in town she had been on vacation, she said that she had given my information to a co worker and asked if he had called me, I told her no one called me.. this has been the worst customer service I have ever experienced. It is now Monday and I have yet to receive an call from this dealership. OH AND BY THE WAY THAT 1ST WEEK THE CAR WAS REMOVED FROM THEIR WEBSITE.. Funny part is I already had an check to purchase the car just wanted to see if I could get a different interest rate through one of their banks....THEIR SERVICE IS HORRIBLE I WILL GO UP THEIR CHAIN OF COMMAND TO LET THEM KNOW HOW THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE TREATING POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS
