Like most auto repair shops, they so often fail to show their cost of parts plus the mark up, which can be significant depending on brand and who the wholesaler is. This lack of transparency can cost the customer a good deal of money over an above what is considered reasonable. First consult a auto parts store for pricing on parts needed, you'll find that the retail pricing will be less than what your paying the auto repair shop. In most cases auto repair labor charges will exceed the cost of parts by 70 to 300 percent, a wide disparity indeed.

This is my first experience with Japanese Auto Repair. What a great find! These guys really know what they are doing. Had a check engine light on my 2016 Prius come on. Upon arrival at their shop, the first thing I noticed was that David, the owner, had all of his training certifications and credentials for Toyota up on the wall which gave me a high level of comfort. I also got a real feeling of trust when dealing with Tony who took care of me. These guys are honest and take the time to explain the issues. Their pricing was also very fair. Service met my expectations. I was satisfied with the experience of the service personnel. Leaders, Doni and Jason, were excellent in explaining the pathway they were going to use to get Mercedes E350 repaired. I would not hesitate to use their services again.

Kinney's always seeks to provide the best service possible. Part of that job is to spot problems and get them repaired. When people just do oil changes and NO MAINTENANCE they get big repair bills or at least they get asked to repair the vehicle in order to make it safe to drive. I see reviews where some folks think that being asked to keep their vehicle in GOOD repair is a bad thing.. they are very shortsighted to do that- just fix it when it breaks.

I was ready to leave Loyd Park in Grand Prairie and the front air leveling system was leaking air and would not raise the motorhome. Not drivable. So, I called Quality RV repair who I've done business with before, but turn out they don't work on the Freightliner chassis. Seconds later she is giving me Tommy's name and number. I called it but got voicemail. It was getting late in the day. My family had already gone home, so I called and arranged for another night, thinking Tommy probably would not call back. But a short time later Tommy did call. Said he would be out soon. Soon was very soon as it turned out. You don't find service people like Tommy very often. He crawled under the bus and determined the valve needed to be replaced. He called several places and left with the bad valve as one place said the may have one. Turns out no, but Freightliner Dallas did and he put it in will call. I drove to Dallas and picked up the part that night. Tommy met me back at the campsite 7 ish the next morning and fixed it. Apparently this part had been partially bad for a long time. My Motorhome rides better, handles better, is much quitter and sets higher then before. When I park I can tell the volume of air being released is much greater than bofore. Can't say enough good about Tommy. He gave me a very reasonable rate for his labor as well. Derrick rebuilt my Lexus RX 300 transmission last September and had it in and out of the shop in 24 hours...outstanding service. Derrick was able to find the parts for the transmission from around the area and kept us in constant communication throughout the process. I brought my transmission back for a check up a few months ago and no error codes were discovered. Will recommend Elite to friends and family!

I have a Porsche 911 turbo transmission that has a known defect. Porsche does not warrant the problem an according to them there is no fix. Their guidelines are to replace the transmission. 18,000 dollars. I found Joe and eurofix on a Porsche forum where another owner had his transmission fixed by them. I called Joe and he said he could repair my car. It is not easy to transport a car to mechanic 700 miles away but Joe's confidence and professionalism put me at ease.
