I have a Porsche 911 turbo transmission that has a known defect. Porsche does not warrant the problem an according to them there is no fix. Their guidelines are to replace the transmission. 18,000 dollars. I found Joe and eurofix on a Porsche forum where another owner had his transmission fixed by them. I called Joe and he said he could repair my car. It is not easy to transport a car to mechanic 700 miles away but Joe's confidence and professionalism put me at ease. I just had my BMW 750LI taken for diagnosis to Bimmer Repair. Its owner Jose is a young guy but very honest - which is a rare to find quality in auto repair work. My car was giving me a transmission failure message - he checked it , cleared all faults , and found nothing wrong with the system . Thoguh the car is still under monitoring to see if the issue comes back - Jose's upfront honesty is what touched me. Stop Paying Your Good Money to Others for Bad Repairs

First off, let me give a thanks to Sabien and the rest of the staff at Standard Gear and Transmission! The service was awesome, and the results are incredible! Hopefully my experience will help others with the Cummins / G56 drivetrain. My throwout bearing was making noise for some time, and I continued to drive the truck, as it is my daily driver. Long story short, this destroyed my clutch fork, input shaft, and input bearing. I was on the fence for some time about doing away with the stock dual-mass flywheel and clutch. Sabien recommended a South Bend Clutch OFEK kit, and let me say, it is amazing! The engagement is similar to stock, but very positive. It does not grab, and shifts are silky smooth. The trans was refilled with 30 wt synchromesh, and it now runs smoother and quieter than I ever believed a G56 could. Pedal effort with the new hydraulics is so light that I nearly pushed the pedal through the floorboard when I started the truck for the first time. Gone are the truck's tendency to buck and jerk in reverse, and the noises from the factory clutch. I'm literally having to learn to drive the truck again, as it's manners and sounds are like new.
