Retail tire service near Huffman, TX

I have had prepaid service on my Mini Countryman S so I only had that experience. After that plan ended, the first time I took my car for service because the engine was kind of sputtering, I received a diagnostic that I had to change my spark plugs and a couple of other minor adjustments and they gave me such an outrageous quote that even the Mini serviceman was surprised! Fortunately I found Uptown Motorwerks and made the drive there. Wow, what a relief. Not only were they very fast and courteous, they helped me decide what would be better to do asap, what could wait. I left them my car and had a guy from their shop drive me back to my house (not a short drive). My car was ready the very next day and a great price and has been running perfectly after that. I cannot recommend them enough.

I have been coming to this location for nearly 5 years and have seen the changes that have taken place with the staff and management. Recently, I took my husband's 2010 Chevy Silverado in to get a rebuilt engine and had to bring in my 2012 Chevy Malibu at the same time for a new engine, this was completely unexpected and frustrating, yet Thomas ( manager) made our experience well worth our time and money. Thomas went above and beyond for us. He is/ was honest, straightforward, dedicated to making us happy, and you know he loves what he does for a living. Needed State Inspection

Another great service experience! I have been a customer for 4 years. I'm not sure why it took 10 years living in this area, for me to find this established shop. I have been very satisfied with all of the service provided. They are professional, courteous, honest, ethical & provided quality work on my Infiniti, BMW and Landcruiser. They provide you details on the service that needs to be performed and the labor rates are very reasonable. I can't say enough about the satisfaction and savings that I have experienced by taking my vehicles to Byrd Automotive. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!

He was on time, got the job done quick and exceeded my expectations when he found and corrected a few other issues while completing his inspection. Glad you take care of my car. One suggestion, If you check the filters before the customer leaves, or just ask the customer at that time, then they can authorize the work, for example, if the air filter is dirty please swap it out. Thanks Marc

I HAD MY TRUCK AT OPEN ROAD FOR LIFTER NOISE. IT WASN'T REAL BAD BUT I WAS CONCERNED. WHEN I GOT MY TRUCK BACK FROM OPEN ROAD THE NOISE WAS MUCH WORSE AND NOW I DONT DRIVE IT AT ALL. WHEN I PICKED UP MY TRUCK FROM OPEN ROAD I NOTICED THAT THE HEATER SWITCH WAS ON AND I TURNED IT TO THE OFF POSITION AND A POPPING NOISE STARTED UNDER THE DASH. IT NEVER HAD THAT PROBLEM BEFOR TAKING THE TRUCK TO OPEN ROAD. NOW I AM WITHOUT ANY TRANSPORTATION EXCEPT MY MOTORCYCLE AND IT IS NOW GOING TO COST ME THOUSANDS TO GET MY ENGINE FIXED BUT I SURE WON'T TAKE IT TO OPENROAD. SOMEONE FROM OPEN ROAD CALLED ME ABOUT MY COMPLAINT BUT NEVER SHOWED UP CHECK ON WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY TRUCK. SOMEHOW I FEEL GLAD THEY DIDNT SHOW UP. I WILL NEVER TAKE ANY OF MY VEHICLES TO OPEN ROAD AND 'NO YOU GUYS DONT NEED TO FOLLOW UP OR CALL ME'

When it comes to car care, "trust" is a hard thing to come by. But with Dan and his team at Kingwood Service Center, you can be sure that you're being treated right. They do great work at reasonable costs. I always recommend them to everyone I meet. They're honest, solid, hard-working guys... and they're a rare breed in an industry fraught with dishonesty and untrustworthiness. If you need anything done on your auto, this is the place you should go, without a doubt.

18 year old daughter takes her car in for an oil change and tire rotation. $20 emergency money in the glove box is gone. They needed to go in the glove box to get the locking lug nut keys. Called asked for a manager guy who answered the phone (Alex) says he remembers the car and my daughter. Stated it was hard for him to believe (but he was not calling me a liar) but he know of many cars with $$ lying around and it has never been taken. Said he would address this with staff. Beware don't leave valuables in the car!!!!!

I was left on the side of the road!! This company was referred to me by autozone. They were nice enough to pick up the vehicle, take me home, diagnose and fix the problem in the same day and even picked me up when the car was ready!! Now that's service!!

These guys saved the day! Had my car towed in for some battery work but because I'm working 7am to 8pm they aren't open when I'm available. Great communication from Jason over the phone about options and prices was appreciated as was the 6am pickup from my hotel. They made a stressful situation about as stressfree as possible. Highly recommended!

We had an outstanding experience with Spring Auto Pro’s and highly recommend them; they were friendly, honest and courteous. They go "above and beyond", example is our Range Rover broke down on the side of the road, just out of warrantee and was towed to the dealership. In typical dealership fashion they tried to take advantage of my wife and quoted a $5,300 repair. I had it towed to Spring Auto Pro’s from the dealership where we were pleasantly surprised at the amount of effort they put in to find out exactly what was wrong and fix it properly; not just a replace everything attitude. They took their time, really investigating the issue to pinpoint it, which saved us over $4,000! They could have charged us more knowing we’d be happy with half the price of the dealers quote but they didn’t. They have the do the right thing attitude, which is hard to come by in the automotive industry. They went out of their way to assist us with obtaining and coordinating, a rental car and also got us a discount. This may have been the best auto repair shop experience I’ve had in my 40 years and I’ve owned a lot of vehicles of all types. They give you the straight truth, what you need now, pricing options, and what you'll need at some point (and how long you can wait). These guys are great; we just purchased a new vehicle and will be using them for any auto needs we incur.
