These guys are the most honest mechanics I have ever encountered. When others wanted to charge me for frivolous work that did not need to be done, Conerstone was there for me and fixed everything right the first time. Their rates are very reasonable, and it is the only place I have used for the last 5 years. Great reputation!

I have a 1996 Cadillac Eldorado. I had a Check Engine light on and was missing. The voltage from the alternator was low on the meters.Bottom line, they found that the Alternator need replacement.It was determined that the spark plugs and coils were in good condition. Due to the age of the car, they decided that cleaning out the fuel injectors was needed. During the road testing to clear the computer, one of the coils went out and was replaced. What impressed me most was during the process of the repair they maintained a professional and courteous attitude toward the customer.Keep me well informed during the process. The car runs better then it has in over 10 years. I will not use any other shop for my work.

A fool and his money are soon parted if you take your auto to this place. I took my truck in with a small transmission leak. They said it needed another transmission. They replaced the transmission and the truck still leaked. I returned the truck back and said it was a loose line. It still leaked. I took it back a 3rd time and they said it was an "external problem" and the transmission lines needed to be replaced. They want an additional $400 to $500 for something that was probably the only thing wrong with in the first place. I encourage you to read the BBB comments for this company if you even consider coming here. I wrote the BBB and this company never even bothered to respond. There is 26 complaints against this company and the business and of that 21 the company failed to even respond to the complaint. They need a class action law suit filed against them and go out of business.

took my van back due to major oil leak..it was covered under their warranty, however they managed to find another problem that cost me additional 184..after having the vehicle for 3 days, drive vehicle home with oil light flashing.. so i take it back and now they want to charge me another 60 for diagnostics .. i was really hoping i found a honest mechanic that stood behind their work, guess i need to keep looking. they want to nickel and dime me due to the cost they had to eat for the warranty work.. Howard even told me it was a shame he had to eat the cost of this...

The paint department's estimates are worthless-on the courthouse steps the term is "bait 'n switch. It didn't work on me. Got the "...you cant find it cheaper anywhere" price at the very next body shop for the identical work priced with the same photographs at 2/3s their price. Lesson learned.

As a woman, car repair can be intimidating and it's important to find a shop that I can trust. Kevin and Brian are some of the nicest guys! They are not necessarily the cheapest, but they are really reasonable and great to work with. They won't recommend work that doesn't need to be done. Before they had ever done any mechanical work for us, I had called because I had a flat tire. They came by, while I was gone, and aired up my tire. I came home and it was fixed! NO CHARGE!!! We keep our cars until they no longer work. One has over 150k and the other over 230k and B&M is helping us get every mile out of them! (They are hard to see from the road. I would put zero stars if I could. I dropped my car off to get a transmission put in and Juan had my car for four weeks with no work done to it. I kept being told it would be done “in a few days” that he was just waiting for a better transmission to put in my car. I was more than understanding in the delay until I received a call from Juan that my car had been stolen off the lot and that the mechanics leave the keys in the cars since they “move them from lot to lot”. I did not receive a call until 4pm the day after my car was gone. He kept trying to suggest that my car had been repossessed when I’m payed ahead for my car. After filing a police report (which he was hesitant to do), and getting insurance involved, my car magically showed up the next morning and Juan was adamant that my car was not stolen, even though he checked his lots and asked his mechanics and he was the one to make the police report. When I got my car back, my things were thrown around, there was a bud light tall boy open and empty in my car plus many brown paper bags that the beer cans come in. They drained 3/4 of a tank of gas and put about 150 miles on my car. Juan was not apologetic and when I picked up my car he only spoke to me to tell me my keys were in the car. They don’t have cameras and they don’t have insurance for these kind of things. The savings are not worth the experience.

I would not take any car or truck to these guys. I have a truck that has had a transmission replaced by these guys and it lasted 7 months but was 200 miles over the warranty period. These guys would not work with me at all and basically said they didn't know why the transmission failed. Then they told me it would be $390 to tell me the transmission was bad?? My reply is no kidding that is why i brought it to a transmission shop? When they couldn't tell me what caused the break down and wouldn't work with me on the price of repairing it, I told them I was not interested in putting another $1400 down for another transmission, they didn't even put it back together they threw the transmission and all the parts in the back of the truck and left it. When I towed the vehicle to Eagle Transmission in Richardson the tow truck driver said this is not the 1st time he has picked up cars they have done this to. I went to Eagle for $1150 I have a good solid transmission like the one in my other truck they did and it has 100k miles on it and still pulling strong. These guys are not good and apparently they get business because they are right on I-35. Very bad move dealing with them in the 1st place.

No starts wasn’t an option!! My car broke down while traveling down 35E on a Sunday and it happened to be next to that shop-so I had it towed there since I live 4 hours away!!! So I call Monday morning to see if it can even be fixed...I get a quote and say ok...after all that work is done there’s more so I allow that as well...so a few days go by and it’s now Wednesday morning so I call to see if it’s ready and they say yes so I op in my rental and head that way...I arrive around 1:30 and the car isn’t ready bc it had started to overheat again so I wait at restaurant until they call at 4 to tell me it’s good to go...I don’t even make it all the way out of Dallas before it starts to overheat but by then they’re closed...so I park on the side of the highway for it to cool for about 30 mins and take off...well I made it for an hour then it died on me in Georgetown which is still another hour and a half from my home-and I ended up not eleven getting home until 1:30am bc I had someone come get me! I call them today about a refund and was basically told to go fuck myself...I don’t understand how someone can take your last $1000 to fix a car that you had already told them you weren’t sure if it was fixable or not and be ok with themselves...I would’ve rather them told me it has too many problems to be fixed-bc now I’m out $1000, no car, and wasted an entire day-I have never been so disappointed in my entire life!
