Top notch organization. I recently purchased a used Volvo and I needed a mechanic shop that I could trust. I made several requests to about 10 different shops and this was the only one that responded in a timely manner and with a professionally written quote and a phone call. This was also the farthest from my home than the others I had send inquiries to. So based on the quick professional response and a couple of phone conversations that impressed me, I chose European Auto Tech. Arthur and Caesar were friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and even had my car ready the next morning. Originally they said they may have it for a couple of days, so they were actually ahead of schedule. They did find a few things that needed immediate attention and they called me to see if I wanted to proceed and didn't add any extra labor charges onto the bill. It's not really that parts for an old E-55 AMG only come from Germany and are obviously gold plated. Everything else would be a 6 Star if it was a available.

Do not use this company. I paid $220 for a service he did not provide. He supposedly filled my car with freon and I was told it was a little cooler but still warm I had to pay an additional 100 to have freon put in my car and was told it did not have any freon. He lied and no service was provided. This company is a RIP OFF. DO NOT USE THEM

I was really hoping to find a great honest mechanic in the area and thought Mastertech would be that place. But we took our Mini Cooper in to get an inspection done and for some reason, on that day, the service engine light was on. Therefore, they couldn't inspect it. We paid for a diagnostic test to be done so we could get the work required done to pass inspection. We were told that the part would need to be ordered and it would take about 2 days to come in and it would take 1/2-1 hour for the service. I was quoted a price over the phone for the repair. He told me that Mini did not carry the small part that was needed and that he was going to have to get it from another auto parts store and go pick it up. He said that Mini only sells the entire assembly which would be much more expensive. But over a week went by without a phone call to tell us the part had arrived. So we called on a Wednesday and they said they would call back. Never did. We called the following Friday and they said they would call back. Never did. So we called the following day, Saturday, and we were told that the tech guy who quoted me the service was now in the hospital and that they couldn't do the repair because they don't know the exact part to get. They referred me to Mini and to get a rental from them, which is now going to cost me major $$. Remember...the tech guy told me that Mini does not sell just the small part needed (only the entire assembly). Not to mention that Mini (the dealer) charges 300% on their parts and labor. Chris, the one I spoke to on Friday and Saturday, seemed to not know anything. He just told me to take it to the dealer. If I would've known they wouldn't do the repair, I would've had the diagnostic test done elsewhere (somewhere that could). Because now, I am out that diagnostic fee and it cannot be applied to my repair as they promised. I feel terrible that the tech guy is in the hospital, but it shouldn't be that difficult to know which "pigtail" to use in our car when they have all my auto information on file (make, model, VIN, etc.). VERY UPSET AND DISAPPOINTED!!

As a woman, car repair can be intimidating and it's important to find a shop that I can trust. Kevin and Brian are some of the nicest guys! They are not necessarily the cheapest, but they are really reasonable and great to work with. They won't recommend work that doesn't need to be done. Before they had ever done any mechanical work for us, I had called because I had a flat tire. They came by, while I was gone, and aired up my tire. I came home and it was fixed! NO CHARGE!!! We keep our cars until they no longer work. One has over 150k and the other over 230k and B&M is helping us get every mile out of them! (They are hard to see from the road. Southwest Autowerks is the most honest, professional and reliable mechic shop in the DFW Metroppex. I highly recommend their services regardless the size of the job to anyone-especially BMW owners. I took my car in to have it diagnosed for $89.00 as to why it was overheating. They said it was the fan. It turned out to not be the fan. Changed the fan and my car is STILL making the high pressure air whooshing sound that they wre asked to diagnose and is still overheating. When i called to ask him why he decided we broke it (was doing this before we ever changed the fan ourselves successfully) He informed me I was a woman and that he talks to my husband not me. That it is the fan causing the high pressure air release and the overheating. Even though we got the fan changed out. It is OBVIOUSLY not the fan. We have had to change an oil pressure sensor AND a temp sensor AND miss work,bc he was wrong on his diagnosis. When you call to say you didn't diagnose it right, he yells,interrupts,and is a sexist pig towards you. This guy is a real piece of work. There is an open BBB refund request out on him.

Please go somewhere else and do not even think about letting these guys touch your vehicle. All they care about is your money. They don't offer any warranty what so ever. I came in for a wheel alignment and the car still pulls to the left so I took it back and long story short, instead of saying "I am sorry", The guy cursed at me in Spanish and pushed me out the door. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE
