I have a 1996 Cadillac Eldorado. I had a Check Engine light on and was missing. The voltage from the alternator was low on the meters.Bottom line, they found that the Alternator need replacement. It was determined that the spark plugs and coils were in good condition. Due to the age of the car, they decided that cleaning out the fuel injectors was needed. During the road testing to clear the computer, one of the coils went out and was replaced. What impressed me most was during the process of the repair they maintained a professional and courteous attitude toward the customer.Keep me well informed during the process. The car runs better then it has in over 10 years. I will not use any other shop for my work.

I was ready to leave Loyd Park in Grand Prairie and the front air leveling system was leaking air and would not raise the motorhome. Not drivable. So, I called Quality RV repair who I've done business with before, but turn out they don't work on the Freightliner chassis. Seconds later she is giving me Tommy's name and number. I called it but got voicemail. It was getting late in the day. My family had already gone home, so I called and arranged for another night, thinking Tommy probably would not call back. But a short time later Tommy did call. Said he would be out soon. Soon was very soon as it turned out. You don't find service people like Tommy very often. He crawled under the bus and determined the valve needed to be replaced. He called several places and left with the bad valve as one place said the may have one. Turns out no, but Freightliner Dallas did and he put it in will call. I drove to Dallas and picked up the part that night. Tommy met me back at the campsite 7 ish the next morning and fixed it. Apparently this part had been partially bad for a long time. My Motorhome rides better, handles better, is much quitter and sets higher then before. When I park I can tell the volume of air being released is much greater than bofore. Can't say enough good about Tommy. He gave me a very reasonable rate for his labor as well. We need more Tommy's in the world. Ken

A fool and his money are soon parted if you take your auto to this place. I took my truck in with a small transmission leak. They said it needed another transmission. They replaced the transmission and the truck still leaked. I returned the truck back and said it was a loose line. It still leaked. I took it back a 3rd time and they said it was an "external problem" and the transmission lines needed to be replaced. They want an additional $400 to $500 for something that was probably the only thing wrong with in the first place. I encourage you to read the BBB comments for this company if you even consider coming here. I wrote the BBB and this company never even bothered to respond. There is 26 complaints against this company and the business and of that 21 the company failed to even respond to the complaint. They need a class action law suit filed against them and go out of business.

Worst Customer Service Ever! My appointment was at 5:30, and I arrived at 5:39 behind a slow customer in line. I get it, I was 9 mins late to a location that states on the door and online that it closes at 6:00. If you've tried driving anywhere on OU weekend, you know the traffic on 35 & 287. After huffing and puffing for 7 mins about how online appointments on the Corporate website should tell you that you have to be there at 5:45 at the latest, the guy gave away the policy of 15mins. I enjoyed how the news on the TV showed a time of 5:41-5:43 the entire time he was out in the shop walking around after I arrived and said I was there for an appointment. If you have a GROUPON for this franchise, STAY away , and go to one of their other locations. A "counter clerk" should have just said, sorry our policy is 9 mins late and we can't take anymore (Even if two bays are empty)... I'd be a bit upset, but not as upset as I am with Mr. Huffy Complainer. And change your sign to say closes at 5:39pm instead of 6pm, so I know.

Bought long block off ebay and had professional certified mechanic install it. Ran 1 minute and got coolant in cylinder. Called and they said to send it back. I just spent $1600 on engine & shipping and another $2000 on misc new engine parts and labor. Now they want me to pay my mechanic to pull it back out, strip it down and pay to ship it back so THEY can look at it. Then I have to pay once again to ship it back to me, pay my mechanic once again to install it and hope they got it right. This is why they don't offer a labor warranty on ebay because the know nobody in their right mind would do this and therefore doesn't check for quality but sends out junk instead. Worst company I have EVER dealt with and for all you potential customers spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Took my car there and they were unable to even diagnose the problem after having the car for 2 weeks. During the 2 weeks they had the car, I called numerous times to check on the progress. Was told they were doing "tests" and was told the mechanic would call me later. Never received any calls. Decided to take the car to another shop and when I went to move the car, the mechanic told me he would move it for me the next morning. At lunchtime, a friend called me to tell me they still hadn't moved the car. When I called them, April told me to come move it myself. I informed her that I had been there the previous day to move it and the mechanic said he would get it moved for me. The shop the car was moved to had the problem diagnosed within a couple of hours.

City Garage is not just an auto repair shop. We aren’t just about getting an oil change, or brake repair, or transmission repair. At City Garage, we are about our customers. We are about DFW. We started in 1993 with a single location in Plano and today we serve 14 locations throughout the Metroplex. And we are not a chain; every single location is locally owned and operated. We grew from that one auto repair shop in Plano into what we are today because we don’t just work on cars, we work for you, our customer. Our goal for each customer that walks through our doors is to provide the very best service and customer care we can so that when you leave, you are happy with your experience. Whether you are in for a routine oil change or something much more complex like transmission repair, we will give you the attention and professional service we have come to be known for. Our ASE certified mechanics are here to make your auto repair a hassle free experience and we will never pressure you to get work done you don’t need or want. That’s just part of the impeccable ethics we demand from all of our employees. We are here to fix your problem and get you back on the road, not sell you services you don’t need. You can be sure your repairs are done right when you come to City Garage. Every one of our locations is a AAA Texas Approved Auto Repair facility, a designation that is hard to achieve and even harder to keep. Customer service is not the only thing we pride ourselves in, we make sure we get the job done right. Whether you need brake repair or a complete engine overhaul, or anything in between, come on in to City Garage and let us take care of you and your car. Let us earn your auto repair business.
