Took my Mazda 5 in for a diagnostic because 2 different Mazda dealers had NOT been able to follow the guide for the known issues for a Mazda 5 listed online. Was told I needed a new transmission and it would be cheaper to trade it in (this was in the summer) waited for school to start again so my daughters auto tech class could look at it. Long story short a transmission control module later (plug and play device) changed by under age HS students and my car runs PERFECTLY. It was mis-diagnosed by these mechanics with yrs of experience. If I could rate less than 1 start I would because I am out the money for the diagnostic fee plus the time I had to wait for school to start again.

My fan broke off into my radiator!! They sent a tow to pick up my vehicle and searched for the entire assembly kit and I had my vehicle in a week! The guys are respectful and courteous. They also have a salvage vehicle lot where you can pick your own used parts, making your repair cost you less! There are also customer vehicles for sale so you can shop for another vehicle! Nogalitos Gear Transmission Services rebuilt my rear end differential. I was a couple hundred miles from them when I called them on the side of the road--my van had completely died. They were great. They were the only company I called who knew what they doing and were able to diagnose the issues. They even stayed open to take the van in. They worked on it that whole weekend because they knew I needed the van to do a job coming up. I didn't even ask them to do that but they got it back to me and told me exactly how to treat the new parts they had put in. Thank you!!!

I went to a Lincoln dealer when I had what was thought to be a transmission problem with my 2007 MKX. The dealer diagnosed it (incorrectly) to be a transmission problem and quoted me a price to repair it of $5400. A friend recommended that I allow Mingo (the owner of Domingo's Garage) to test drive my vehicle and confirm the diagnosis. Mingo drove my vehicle and determined that the problem was probably in the transfer case. My vehicle is an all wheel drive Lincoln MKX. He suggested removing and opening the transfer case and if needed, replace it. He stated if the transfer case was okay, then he would get in to the transmission and if the problem was in the transmission, he could rebuild it for less than half of what the dealer quoted. The problem was the transfer case and the ultimate cost for parts and labor was less than $1200. Had I accepted the dealers diagnosis, I would have paid $5400 for a transmission swap that was't required and an additional $2200 for the transfer case replacement... Their quote to replace the transfer case was $1000 more than Domingo's. I saved $6400 by going to Domingo's! I will never go back to the Lincoln dealership for any repair. Dominos garage is excellent! I saved money and met a mechanic whom I can trust. I recommend Mingo and his staff to everyone that I know! They are true professionals that you can trust! They guarantee their work too! I am a very happy customer!

I want to thank Chris for his professionalism and care while repairing my daughters BMW while away at college. Chris arranged to have her car picked up and taken to his shop where he diagnosed the problem and replaced her starter at a very reasonable charge. My daughter is not familiar with San Antonio and did not have a way to pick up her car. Chris, understanding of our situation, volunteered to drop it off to her after hours. I had a good experience here. This is the first time I took my car in for a repair in San Antonio. I called them for a quote, I was happy with the price (I had done my research), they ordered the part, we made the appointment and then I brought it in. They fixed it in the amount of time they said they would even though I showed up late, they charged me the price they quoted and they didn't bring any new problems to my attention. They also gave me $25 off because I signed up for the text message discounts. I haven't been getting any texts since then but I got and used that first one. I haven't smelled oil since that day. They also gave me a stamp card to earn a free oil change. I'm thoroughly happy.
