Retail tire service near Lewisville, TX

Used to have 5 star rating for this company. I have removed that rating and replaced it with a 1 which is very hard to give at best. Had been doing business with them for 2 years putting tires on all 3 my vehicles and some family vehicles as well. Recently had new tires put on my 1 ton dually. This truck spends a lot of time parked cause it is not my daily driver. On 4th of July weekend went on a trip to Longview Texas. Long story short almost to my destination on I-20 I started experiencing the death wobble. limpted the truck to a Firestone. Had a $255 bill at Firestone for replacing the front passanger side lugs after 2 were found broken and 3 stripped and the rest loose. The driver side lugs were also loose and had to re torque properly. The passanger side aluminum rim was damaged around the lug holes and is unusable. I contacted Just tire and the owner claimed no liability cause of the amount of time that had passed since the tires were put on the truck. So I am out a $400 aluminum rim, $255 repair bill. They are out a customer for life. Do business with them at your own risk and double check their work. They put my entire family at risk.

Moral of the story: avoid this place as they can't honestly set specs to the right model, they are over priced, they still try to nickel and dime you despite being over priced, they don't honor their scheduled appointments, and they don't honor their own verbal quotes; if they can't charge you on a package deal, the price goes up on a single item. I wasted my whole morning thinking these guys are some sort of good quality and in the end they treat their customers like trash. I did end up going down the street and getting my oil AND filter changed for under $20. I'll never go back to Midas again, and in particular don't trust anything Matt says or does.

I have been using Adams Central Auto Care for about five years now. My previous mechanic started getting sloppy. I have had great experiences when using Adams Central. They are reasonably priced and busy enough that they don't try to uncover things to fix. I especially like Luis as my mechanic. Daniel Briseno

Top notch organization. I recently purchased a used Volvo and I needed a mechanic shop that I could trust. I made several requests to about 10 different shops and this was the only one that responded in a timely manner and with a professionally written quote and a phone call. This was also the farthest from my home than the others I had send inquiries to. So based on the quick professional response and a couple of phone conversations that impressed me, I chose European Auto Tech. Arthur and Caesar were friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and even had my car ready the next morning. Originally they said they may have it for a couple of days, so they were actually ahead of schedule. They did find a few things that needed immediate attention and they called me to see if I wanted to proceed and didn't add any extra labor charges onto the bill. It's not really that parts for an old E-55 AMG only come from Germany and are obviously gold plated. Everything else would be a 6 Star if it was a available.

Dropped off my car for a wheel alignment being told to pick up after 45 minutes. After coming back right at the 45 minute window, come to find out, no one was working on the car. Manager on Duty gave lame excuses like its been too hot this evening, etc. Nevertheless, car gets on the alignment rack and 15 minutes later was ready for me. Manager on duty, put paperwork in NTB envelop without explanation of what work was done. I open the envelop to read the alignment report, to find that the alignment was out of spec and for the most part had not changed from what was before. Upon questioning, Manger on duty says that his alignment techs had left for the day and as such had to put a general mechanic to work on the alignment. What's more that the tech did not have the right tools to do an alignment.Apparently the alignment techs have their personal tools and NTB does not provide them the necessary tools. Seemed very rubbish to me. Looks like I just pissed off 90 minutes of my life with the alignment being just as was before. I am mad about the fact that when the car was signed in for alignment, no one in the shop mentioned that they will not have the right guys working on it nor that they did not have the tools. This seems very deceitful to me. These guys just lost a customer & I sincerely hope that they loose more !!! Very Irate customer ...

I was really hoping to find a great honest mechanic in the area and thought Mastertech would be that place. But we took our Mini Cooper in to get an inspection done and for some reason, on that day, the service engine light was on. Therefore, they couldn't inspect it. We paid for a diagnostic test to be done so we could get the work required done to pass inspection. We were told that the part would need to be ordered and it would take about 2 days to come in and it would take 1/2-1 hour for the service. I was quoted a price over the phone for the repair. He told me that Mini did not carry the small part that was needed and that he was going to have to get it from another auto parts store and go pick it up. He said that Mini only sells the entire assembly which would be much more expensive. But over a week went by without a phone call to tell us the part had arrived. So we called on a Wednesday and they said they would call back. Never did. We called the following Friday and they said they would call back. Never did. So we called the following day, Saturday, and we were told that the tech guy who quoted me the service was now in the hospital and that they couldn't do the repair because they don't know the exact part to get. They referred me to Mini and to get a rental from them, which is now going to cost me major $$. Remember...the tech guy told me that Mini does not sell just the small part needed (only the entire assembly). Not to mention that Mini (the dealer) charges 300% on their parts and labor. Chris, the one I spoke to on Friday and Saturday, seemed to not know anything. He just told me to take it to the dealer. If I would've known they wouldn't do the repair, I would've had the diagnostic test done elsewhere (somewhere that could). Because now, I am out that diagnostic fee and it cannot be applied to my repair as they promised. I feel terrible that the tech guy is in the hospital, but it shouldn't be that difficult to know which "pigtail" to use in our car when they have all my auto information on file (make, model, VIN, etc.). VERY UPSET AND DISAPPOINTED!!

Kinney's always seeks to provide the best service possible. Part of that job is to spot problems and get them repaired. When people just do oil changes and NO MAINTENANCE they get big repair bills or at least they get asked to repair the vehicle in order to make it safe to drive. I see reviews where some folks think that being asked to keep their vehicle in GOOD repair is a bad thing.. they are very shortsighted to do that- just fix it when it breaks.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!  I needed an alignment on my vehicle. Called a few places and the one that seemed to have a better deal was dfw frame and alignment. The alignment was quoted at around $60 which seemed pretty decent. Little did I know that after taking my car in to dfw frame and alignment, it quickly went from $60 to about $600 worth of work and repair. On top of that, it cost $42.50 just to tell me that.....  without having anything done to the car!! Diagnostic fees... It is posted on the counter top handwritten on a piece of paper. But unless your looking for it,  you wouldn't catch it. Nor do they go out of their way to let you know there is a diagnostic fee. They wouldn't do the alignment unless I first replaced my front tire. Otherwise it would void any type of warranty with the alignment service I was needing.  They stated that my front two axles would need to be replaced as well which would bring it up to about $600. But never once was it ever verbally discussed that just from them taking my keys and getting my car on a lift to find this out would cost me $42.50. The employee did state however, that if I were to come back to get my axles done the $42.50 wouldnt be charged again for the work...... But it would NOT be returned if I got the tire replaced and came back the next day to get just the alignment done.  I did clarify with dfw alignment that had I had good tires,  they would have gone through with the alignment and not charged me the diagnostic fee. Doesnt make any sense to me. Bottom line, had they been a more upfront that there would be a fee regardless of any work being done, I might have considered giving them a try. It just feels sneaky to me really set the character of the place. I'd personally be more loyal with my business to a place that doesn't try to outsmart you or always give you the upsale. just good quality and trustworthy service. I'm still looking for one. But dfw frame and alignment is definately out of that category in my book.

I was very impressed that they noticed my oil was extremely low since they were replacing a radiator. This shows how thorough they are, that they checked the oil without being asked. I was very impressed.

Great service! This company goes above and beyond to provide quality service. Excellent communication, friendly staff and I was informed of any issues and maintenance that was due on my vehicle to ensure it’s stays safe and reliable for me and my family. I have a Porsche 911 turbo transmission that has a known defect. Porsche does not warrant the problem an according to them there is no fix. Their guidelines are to replace the transmission. 18,000 dollars. I found Joe and eurofix on a Porsche forum where another owner had his transmission fixed by them. I called Joe and he said he could repair my car. It is not easy to transport a car to mechanic 700 miles away but Joe's confidence and professionalism put me at ease.
