I’d been to this place before and they were professional and courteous, but the next time I sent my wife in for a diagnostic on her car, they never told her what it would cost. They made a few minor repairs without asking her or telling her they would perform them and then pulled a bait and switch by giving her an estimate for other ‘issues’ the diagnostic cost us $268 dollars. Im 44 and have had more cars than I could remember and Ive never been in any repair shop that cost nearly $300 just. To be told I need to spend another $1000 and no work done aside from a few clamps as I was told was done for free. This pandemic is making some small buisness forget their morals and tell wives that their blinker fluids needs to be changed all so they can make a few dollars

I came home one day, got out of the car and heard a loud hissing sound. Ran around the car trying to hear where it was coming from. Finally discovered it was one of the tires. I found the spot and discovered I had run over a broken-in-half razor blade about 1/2" long. I figured there was no way to plug such a long, narrow slice and was in for a tire-replacement. I searched for tire shops near me and Richlonn's came up as the closest so I called. I told them the story and asked them if there was any way to get the car in ASAP. This was in the late afternoon, so I figured i'd have to wait until morning. They checked the schedule and said that they could fit me in in an hour. So i filled the tire up and quickly drove there and dropped it off. In under two hours later I got a phone call saying my car was ready. I asked what kind of tire did they put on... They said that no tire replacement was needed and that they simply plugged the hole. I was expecting to pay at least 100 and ended up only paying less than 25! With emergency service none-the-less! After this encounter, I always go to Richlonn's. I trust them to be honest and they never fail me or let me down. Everyone is always friendly and respectful and their prices are more than fair. I had a tire that was low. When I got to the shop, I was greeted by an advisor. He listened to my issue and assured me that the problem would be resolved. I had lunch plans and after the assessment was done he said that I could get a loaner so not to miss the lunch date. I now have new tires and was satisfied with my experience at Silver Lake. I would give them 5 stars.

Needed an alignment and they fit me in the schedule same day. However my truck is now making a horrible noise when I turn to the right. I replaced a bunch of parts before I took it there and drove it, and it did none of this before hand. Not sure if something wasn’t tightened all the way or what. Hoping to have it back in and looked at Monday.

We are long-time customers who brought our "new to us" vehicle in for an inspection. After that, it was one issue after another. The day after we picked up the car from the inspection and some work that was needed, we completely lost the brakes in the car. We were told by many sources that if the car had been put up on a lift incorrectly, that the brake lines would be crushed. Had the car towed back, then we explained the situation. We feel that we are fair people and explained that if the mechanic made a mistake, we would gladly split the difference of the cost to fix the car. We understand that mistakes happen. We were told that the mechanic definitely did not make a mistake, and that we needed 4 lines replaced (2 brake lines, a fuel line and the other line in the same area). Cost to fix: $780. SHOP CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS SEVERLY DECLINED OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS: 1. Each and every time our vehicles have been in the shop, we await a call to let us know what is going on. Each time we call for information we get the same spiel from the customer service desk… “I was just going to call you…” – it’s hard to believe that since we are the ones who always have to follow up. 2. During the last repair, early in the morning we called and asked that the owner, Owen, call us to discuss the broken brake lines. That call finally came through at almost 4 PM, which was after the next issue that I am going to list (see #3). 3. Upon my arrival at the shop to pay for the work done on our vehicle, I walk in and Jim is bad-mouthing my husband to Owen. I stood in the lobby and continued to listen to the conversation without being greeted or assisted. Finally, I said to Jim – you do realize that you are talking about my husband. His response: was something to the tune of: your husband is accusing us of breaking something on the car and we did not. I explained that regardless, it is poor customer service to discuss another customer in such a manner when you have other customers in the lobby. At the end of the day, we paid the $780 to get the car fixed. THEN, two days later, while bringing the car downstate to our child at college, we noticed a strong gasoline smell. We brought the car to another mechanic, who upon looking at the car, showed us that the new gas line that was installed did not have a clamp. Apparently the $780 that we had already shelled out didn’t include a clamp. MORAL OF THE STORY is that we will no longer be customers of this establishment. There have been far too many errors from the mechanic team and they have horrible customer service. If I could, I would leave ZERO STARS.

I called and zipped in quick to Richlonn's on South 76th Street, to get new wiper blades installed. We have been going to Richlonn's on South 76th Street for close to 30 years. On my 7th Jeep Rubicon now, there is nothing they can't fix on my Jeeps! The mechanics explain everything in detail to me, and actually talk me out of things that I "think" I need replaced! Awhile back I though I needed new back brakes. The mechanic took the wheels apart and showed me that I did not need new brakes! That saved me several hundred dollars. The mechanic was able to find the mysterious squeak and do a simple fix! And I "thought" I was due for a new air filter. The mechanic took the old filter out and blew air threw it and showed me that I didn't need a brand new air filter. They have also lent me an emergency gas can to rescue a friend, filled up my boat trailer tires and rechecked the tire pressure for me before driving up North, and helped me with so many things that a "family" does for each other! Richlonn's on South 76th Street is honest, fair, and they stand behind their work. I am proud to be able to write this positive review for them!

I have been going to Richlonn's (in Racine) for tires, brakes and service the last 15-years. I have always been pleased and satisfied as a customer. In fact, approx. 3-months ago, Mother needed tires (white whal) on '86 Cadillac and not having luck in finding what she wanted. I spoke to Brian V. (Store Manager) about the circumstances and then made an appointment for Mom to get tires. Mom is very satisfied with the new tires and 90,000 mile warranty. Also, no one came close to offering the lifetime rotation, price of installing, balancing and Computer check-up for alignment problem with Nitrogen air and extensions.
