I've had a rattle in my van for quite a while. I've been told it was a loose heat shield. I drive a support van for Patriot Guard Riders and we will be escorting a soldier who was killed in action tomorrow and Saturday for arrival and funeral. I stopped by Pep Boys and asked if they could take care of it. They looked at it and said they could reattach or remove it. Removing would be easier and faster. Two mechanic friends had recommended just that. I said go ahead. When it was done the fellow said, "No Charge". I said, "You can't do that for NOTHING!" He smiled and said, "We just did."
