My suburban was starting more slowly and I thought it was a battery or alternator issue. Dana Brothers diagnosed the starter motor was in decline. Also a belt chirp had returned and the belt tensor was replaced again under warranty. Dana Brothers is very good at standing behind their work.

Josh Dana and his staff were very professional and knowledgeable concerning my Diesel. They did excellent diagnostics and trouble shooting of my problems. They fixed my immediate problems with my fuel injectors and also pointed out some serious issues with my power steering assembly and thermostats. They did not pressure me to fix the additional problems, but left the decision to me. Being 1500 miles from home I felt they went out of their way to help me and keep me informed. I did not need to break down on my way home with my trailer. They kindly lent me a loner vehicle to get around as they fixed my vehicle. They were very honest in their work and I learned to trust them. That is not easy to do when you are in a strange town and do not know anyone. Dana is great! He went above and beyond coming to my home to get my truck started to avoid a tow truck. Clean shop, great customer service, and a complimentary wear inspection of the truck with a checklist. They bring customer service back to automotive repairs. Screw your dealer go to them. I was preparing for a long trip and my older 2004 Chevy Suburban started making some noise under the hood just days before the trip. It was determined the belt, belt tensor and a few pulleys needed to be replaced. The work was done in a timely manner and in time for the trip. The vehicle ran and sounded great for the first 1000 miles of the trip when a squeal at rpm above idle began. Once I was back in town Dana Brothers reviewed the problem and replaced the belt and tensor once more, under warranty. The vehicle is once again running smoothly and quietly. Dana Bros recently serviced my 2008 Honda CRV for a 100,000 checklist. The service was completed within the time quoted and my car was thoroughly checked out for fluids, brakes, belts and spare tire. My serpentine belt needed to be replaced which would eventually have left me stranded if not noticed and replaced. I feel that I can probably get another 100,000 miles on my Honda as long as I have Dana Bros regularly service it. Definitely service that you can trust!

2005 F250 6.0L diesel: These guys are great! When I walked through the door I felt welcomed, just like I was an old friend. The tec. (Jordan) took the time to listen to every thing I had to say about my problem, he also went for a ride with me to see exactly what my problem was. They worked on my truck all day and called me twice to let me know how things were going. When I picked up my truck the next morning the tec. took the time to explain every thing he had done, even answered some questions that were not about my current problem. I live about 4.5 hours away and will be going back for any further problems I have. They even loaned me a truck while they worked on mine. The guys at Dana Bros. go that extra mile to help, and they didn't charge an arm and a leg.

I located Dana Bros on the internet via a google search. I read several of the reviews online and a vast majority of them were positive. From the very beginning Jack was very informative and willing to answer all of my questions. I'm new to the diesel world and was a little confused as to why a diagnostic would be charged and not applied towards the repair if I went with them. He took the time to explain that this is normal in the diesel tech world and was patient as I still didn't buy into it. He kept me informed about my repair by phone and email which I appreciated. I feel their prices are a little high but the 2 yr / 24,000 mile labor and parts warranty is worth it. I will definitely be going back.

The mechanic identified a problem with the alternator. It was replaced, but when we used car, alternator went bad a second time. The problem we had could not be replicated. The alternator was found to be bad again. I would suggest, if possible to find a replacement for the standard part if the part breaks down after being replaced. So, is it really my alternator, or is my car having a hidden electrical problem that is not easily detected as Dana Brothers did use instruments to test all systems. their time spent was never fully paid for since the faulty part was under warranty.

They recommend other possible service, axle bushings and drag link at Pitman arm, and were able to do that also. We were able to fullfill our obligations with out interruption. During the July heat wave and just prior to leaving town on a trip, Dana Brothers detected a water pump leak on my vehicle while I was at their shop for a boat trailer repair. Both the water pump and radiator were leaking. The radiator was under warranty and was repaired at no cost. The water pump was replaced and my suburban is runner cooler than ever. I had taken my work truck to Dana Bros. after not being satisfied with the work at a local dealer. When a new problem came up Dana Bros. repaired it and found another problem that had been previously repaired at the dealer. They initiated the warranty repair and finished the work without me having to deal with the dealer. When the A/C went out they repaired it and found another warranty item that needed fixed. They again did the work under warranty and the truck is running good again.

I drove my truck home last night, and it seemed as if it was running well, and the steering was much better. The truck had been washed, and was clean, thank you! Regarding overall repairs, ask me in a couple weeks after I have had some time to put some miles on it. If everything stays solid, I will be coming back! You were very nice about me wanting to do my own brake job, and replacing some bushings, there was no pressure to have you do that work. Once I have done this, I'll have it in for an alignment. I do appreciate Josh giving me a ride home the night I dropped my truck off, that was very nice!

They were honest with me. I bought them our company 7.3L IDI turbo diesels which was sounding rather unhappy. They diagnosed it for me and told me they couldn’t be sure because of possible bad injectors. I had a new set and they allowed me to put them in and then they looked at it again. They were able to narrow the engine issues to 1 cylinder and didn’t put any parts or extra money in it without asking me first. I appreciated that. I think I have found my new diesel shop.
