John has always been honest and has never done more than necessary on our Sport Trac and Sonata. We thought the Sonata was dead with 130K miles and needing repair. John convinced us that the Sonata engines are built to last and did the repairs for a reasonable price. We've got almost 170K miles now and it runs like a champ. I'd recommend him to anyone.

LOVE these guys! They did quality job that five other mechanics wanted 3600-5000. This shop charged me less than half of the total. We essentially had to replace half the engine. Found them through a friend. I had a leaking brake line in the ABS of my BMW 540i. Took my car there yesterday. They did a great job in fixing that in an absolutely amazing price. And they also did a free inspection of my car and told me about the probs that I might face in future. They are not at all pushy about selling their services. be careful with these people, they quote you 1 price tell you thats all you need, then change their tune and up the bill 200.00 w/o any prior authorization. i have all their voice mails saved and phone calls after the fact recorded where they contradict themselves not a very good business practice !

I was referred to Jeff by a stranger who fixed my flat tire about 2 months ago. I visited the business yesterday and Jeff was very honest, open with the evaluation. He invited me to look under the car to see what was wrong with the tires and he corrected the problem without any charge because it was due to loose nuts in the tie rods. He double checked all the tires to ensure they were on tight and sent me on my way. I feel because I am a female, sometimes, I have been taken for a ride and sold a bill of goods. However, in this case, I had experienced an honest mechanic and that is rare in my experience with mechanics. I give him a high rating for excellent service and I respect the man who recommended him although I have never seen him again. Jeff gets my business from now on!

As a female, I always feel like I might be seen as an easy target for auto shops, thank goodness I discovered this place. My car wouldn't start and I couldn't jump it and these guys came to me, took my car in, and gave me a clear estimate without making me feel pressured to spend more than what I could afford just to get my car back. They found some other issues and gave estimates on those but nothing was done to my car before advising me so i knew exactly what was due at the end of the day.

As a mechanic myself that has moved into a different line of work I can fully recommend all the guys here at The Brake Shop. With my new responsibilities I don't always have the time I wish I did to do my own repairs. When I was new to the area I shopped around and talked to a lot of shops before having any work done. These guys are class act. They know their stuff and they put a great guarantee on their work. Honesty, reliability, and quality is the mantra here. After reading some of these reviews about being a "scam" or the guys looking for extra money... I'm not so sure if these people really used the same shop. I continue to refer friends/acquaintances/co-workers here when I don't have time to handle their repairs and all 5 of them have yet to have a less than stellar experience and reported back full satisfaction to me.
