My wife’s expedition blew a heater hose while at Coffee Bean with steam coming out from under the hood she drove next door to American Tire. The guys “T” as in Mr. T was very helpful, even assisting her a tow to the dealer through AAA (garages don’t typically assist you going elsewhere, but they were helpful). Upon arriving to assess the problem I realized the “new” heater hoses are not hoses at all but rather multisegment manifolds. I felt comfortable with everything explained, they confirmed that the parts were available and it would be done by the end of day and it was. Very happy with the service and how we were treated. 5 star all the way!

I thank my lucky stars for this place!! For as long as I've been taking my car to the team here, which is about 6 years now (this was previously a Nappa, with the same team), I have always been listened to genuinely and given considered, expert recommendations for my old car. It's thanks to them that it keeps on going!! Managers Albert, Mitch and the mechanics are top notch, friendly and so helpful! They take the time to listen and explain. At first, having just moved to LA, I used to cross-check their recommendations with a friend who owns a repair shop back where I used to live. Every time, he agreed with the basis for their assessment, plan of action, and price. As an example of their honesty, there was one type of repair that, for the type of car I have, is apparently best done by the dealership, and they told me that up front, rather than just doing the repair themselves without telling me and leaving me with the chance that the car may not work as it should. They have never been pushy and they help me prioritize what needs to be done and what can wait. They have sometimes gone out of their way to help me. The friendliness and reliability with which I'm treated here makes this Napa shop a valuable part of my sense of community here in Hollywood. I'm so grateful to have them and couldn't recommend them more highly! Janet Caper

I CANNOT express enough how grateful the guys at American Tire Depot have been to me. As a single woman who knows virtually nothing about cars, I am so grateful to these gentlemen who have treated me in the same manner that I know they would want someone to treat their mothers, wives or sisters. They have kept my older car running and pieced together many times without overcharging or even charging me (for the small things) at all. I've also seen them do the same for men as well. My first visit for maintenance after my Mercedes warranty expired. The experience was overwhelmingly positive. Herbert has a professional calmness that exudes knowledge and confidence. You are immediately aware that you and your car are in good hands. Herbert's fees are fair and he will tell you exactly what your car needs- and perhaps more importantly, what your vehicle does not need.
