I thank my lucky stars for this place!! For as long as I've been taking my car to the team here, which is about 6 years now (this was previously a Nappa, with the same team), I have always been listened to genuinely and given considered, expert recommendations for my old car. It's thanks to them that it keeps on going!! Managers Albert, Mitch and the mechanics are top notch, friendly and so helpful! They take the time to listen and explain. At first, having just moved to LA, I used to cross-check their recommendations with a friend who owns a repair shop back where I used to live. Every time, he agreed with the basis for their assessment, plan of action, and price. As an example of their honesty, there was one type of repair that, for the type of car I have, is apparently best done by the dealership, and they told me that up front, rather than just doing the repair themselves without telling me and leaving me with the chance that the car may not work as it should. They have never been pushy and they help me prioritize what needs to be done and what can wait. They have sometimes gone out of their way to help me. The friendliness and reliability with which I'm treated here makes this Napa shop a valuable part of my sense of community here in Hollywood. Excellent customer service at this American Tire Depot, I didn't had no problem at the first tire depot in Torrance on Hawthorne Blvd when I purchase my tire set but after today I'm really disapointed I called a appt for my tires to be rotated the guy was able to give me the appt the same day I was happy but meanwhile my truck was getting a oil change @ the dealership which took almost 2hrs instead of 1hr so made me late to my appt at American tire depot in Torrance so I get there and the guy didn't want to help me at all because it was almost 3 o'clock and had 4 cars ahead of me. I wouldn't mind to wait but he didn't even offer me. Instead he wanted to give me an appt for tomorrow, so I started calling all the American Tire depot around my area and found me the 1 in Hawthorne in Rosecrans Ave the guy who answer my called told me to come in and was going to help me with my rotation and they sure did help me ASAP when I got there and was out in less then a 1hr thank you guys so so so much for your help. Clean, fast, best price in town.

Within a 2 week period, 3 of my 4 tires had nails and screws found in them. I had to purchase a new tire for the first situation. The following week I had to make another visit for damage done to 2 other tires. They heard about my belief as to why I am experiencing this. Fixed the problem tires and sent me on my way..... NO CHARGE! They made a bad situation into a situation where I could be grateful for something. Thank you so much to the manager of Hermosa Beach American Tire Depot. It meant a lot!! I will be back! Robert and Ricardo went above and beyond my expectations. I wanted to compare the Yokohama and Nitto tires side by side in person so I asked if I can order both tires and decide from there. No problem with a big smile was the answer I got and they had both tires at the store within a couple of hours and installed them that same day. They drove me home and picked me up when it was all done. They had the lowest price in Valencia who had good performance tire brand and sizes I wanted in stock plus "REBATES". I went back the next day and purchased another set of Hankook tires and once again, I wasn't sure if I should get the V12 or S1s. So they ordered both for me again and I decided to go for the V12s. To be able to compare 4 sets of tires side by side and only buy 2 sets without a deposit is unheard of these days unless the shop is confident that they can sell anything and everything the customer wants to see. I will surely be back just for this reason alone. If you're picky and love premium hi-end performance tires, then this is the shop for you. They surely have all the good stuff and the shop is definitely capable. A lot of negative reviews here and yet people keep on coming. They're busy for a reason. So go figure. Don de los Reyes

I always go back there because they are super professional and their charges are superb. The owner Nick is very very friendly and knowledgeable.

Hubert has always been good on communicating with me and telling me when something is not needed. I moved to the south bay over 10 years ago and he's always been my 1st call for any of our auto needs. I highly recommend. They specialize in Amsoil and that all I run on my wife's Honda and my F350. Don't get me wrong they have a vary of supplies.

The service at Rick's was terrific! I was on my way to take my son back to UC Irvine from Agoura when my battery and engine lights came on. It turns out I needed a new alternator and belts. Rick went out of his way to accomodate my schedule. He fixed my car promptly which enabled me to get my son back to UCI to attend class that afternoon. He seemed honest and genuine and the prices seemed fair for the work done. Thanks Rick! I will definitely recommend this place to others! Acry H.

The staff was friendly and performed the alignment check quickly. I was concerned about possible frame damage on a used car that I was considering purchasing and they directly addressed my concern about that issue instead of simply telling me the car was aligned well. I have been coming to Advanced Automotive for a number of years now. Vic and his staff are the most trusted Auto Repair Shop in Southern California for my money. I work in The Automotive Repair Industry and This is the shop I go to and refer all my friends to. 2 weeks ago I had an issue, bent a rim and damaged a tire. I was able to bring the car in And get it repaired correctly and without any Problems. They deliver beyond 5 star service. Here's what you need and why.
