Emissions testing service near Riverside, CA

I really dreaded looking for new care for my 2002 car. I had always stuck with Honda servicing on a regular basis. Unfortunately it seemed to become a chore, with impersonal interest, raising prices, and some questionable recommendations for work to be done. My son is a master mechanic but does not live close by. I let him know what was going on and he found me the Perris Auto Repair Center. I cannot be happier with them, the brothers are all so welcoming and yet feel very professional. The dread of getting my car taken care of has disappeared, it is much closer to me, and my car is happier too. She has her zip back. Bardy A Neuvo, CA

These guys were great! I would highly reccomend them. I had a 1:00 appt and was met with a can "do attitude". I was in and out in less than 30 mins. I just moved to town and when I found out they also do oil changes and tire rotations...there is no doubt that I have found my "go to" team here in Rancho. Please check these guys out you will not be disapointed!

I WILL NEVER TAKE MY CAR HERE AGAIN!!! I took my car in for an oil change and the next day I noticed something leaking on my garage floor. I took my car back and the owner proceeded to tell me that it was my "rack and pinion" and that "it needed to be replaced" right away at a cost of $1100! The owner was very apologetic and offered to show me what was wrong with my car (I am not a mechanic and would not know what I was looking at even if he did show me). I opted to take my car and get a second opinion and the other mechanic told me that THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY CAR! He stated that someone had just spilled some oil all over the engine compartment and that my rack and pinion was just fine and had no leaks! Now I have to wonder if I was taken advantage of when I had Allstar Auto Center fix my brakes. The owner gave me the same apologetic song and dance that he would have to replace my rotors because they were in such bad condition. I went in there that time for a simple oil change and to have my tires rotated, and walked out of there paying $360. Now I wish I had asked for the old parts to know if those repairs were necessary.

Took my car there to have smogged today...they failed me and told me that I would have to pay $175.00 to have my vehicle repaired to get it to pass...I said no and went to another station where my car passed smog no problem.. Never again!!!

Brought my vehicle in to have it diagnosed because it didn't pass the smog test. In short, dropped my vehicle off at 9:30 am, he didn't have it ready for me until after 4 pm. Billed me over $100 for 1.2 hours of work. When I picked my vehicle up, the drivers side window was stuck half way down. Couldn't roll it all the way up or all the way down. When I asked the mechanic if he could take a look at he told me he couldn't look at it because he had "other" customers and I would have to either leave it or bring it back in the morning. Told him I needed my vehicle for work. That didn't matter to him. Ended up taking my vehicle to a friends who was able to remove the door panel and fix the problem in about 30 minutes. In summary, they had my vehicle for 7 hours for a diagnostics check that took a little over an hour, was charged over $100 for that diagnostic check and then wouldn't take 30 minutes of their precious time to take a look at a problem that happened while they had the vehicle.

Today 8/8/2015 I took my truck to SmogZone at 12365 it was about 3:45PM, they closed at 4:00PM. I was greeted by John Yang who speaks limited English. In short he ran a SMOG Test on my truck, he never brought it into the bay to run any RPM tests. At 4PM he tells me "Oh your truck didn't pass." On the form he points to Smoke Check. He said "I do not know what that is, you must go to a SMOG Certification to have it checked, I'll charge you $35 to retest in 30 days." I was so upset, the truck has 36,000 miles, not a hint of smoke. I came home and looked up Smoke Check and found he is the one who enters Smoke Check. I plan to dispute the $49.75 he charged me. I should have known based on their previous bad reviews not to go there.

Dave was awesome from the very first time we called, all the way to the final day of completion. He is the best! Dave is very honest, trustworthy and a man of his word. His shop is very clean and hard working. They are so good, it's like a NASCAR Pitcrew handle your vehicle's needs. They take pride in their work and make you feel great and relieved to put your vehicle in such expert hands. Zach the mechanic was amazing and professional. He met with my Dad and brother and showed them the old engine and was very courteous and professional. It was an all around Amazing experience! Canyon Lake Auto is the best shop around, period. Excellent and friendly customer service and professionalism guaranteed! Quickly diagnosed and repaired my vehicle in a very timely manner from start to finish. I am very happy with the investment and will continue to use Canyon Lake Auto for any future repairs.
