First time customer here. I was recommended by a friend and since I have absolutely no clue on the everything car except how to drive them I was a little apprehensive. I initially was prepared to spend around $150 - $200 for new brakes. Shortly after dropping my car off I received a call letting me know that my brakes were fine and instead I only needed to replace a small part. SAY WHAT?!? Needless to say, I also decided to get my oil change. Everything came to around $60! Fantastic service! No BS. I definitely recommend them!

Excellent customer service at this American Tire Depot, I didn't had no problem at the first tire depot in Torrance on Hawthorne Blvd when I purchase my tire set but after today I'm really disapointed I called a appt for my tires to be rotated the guy was able to give me the appt the same day I was happy but meanwhile my truck was getting a oil change @ the dealership which took almost 2hrs instead of 1hr so made me late to my appt at American tire depot in Torrance so I get there and the guy didn't want to help me at all because it was almost 3 o'clock and had 4 cars ahead of me. I wouldn't mind to wait but he didn't even offer me. Instead he wanted to give me an appt for tomorrow, so I started calling all the American Tire depot around my area and found me the 1 in Hawthorne in Rosecrans Ave the guy who answer my called told me to come in and was going to help me with my rotation and they sure did help me ASAP when I got there and was out in less then a 1hr thank you guys so so so much for your help. Today 8/8/2015 I took my truck to SmogZone at 12365 it was about 3:45PM, they closed at 4:00PM. I was greeted by John Yang who speaks limited English. In short he ran a SMOG Test on my truck, he never brought it into the bay to run any RPM tests. At 4PM he tells me "Oh your truck didn't pass." On the form he points to Smoke Check. He said "I do not know what that is, you must go to a SMOG Certification to have it checked, I'll charge you $35 to retest in 30 days." I was so upset, the truck has 36,000 miles, not a hint of smoke. I came home and looked up Smoke Check and found he is the one who enters Smoke Check. I plan to dispute the $49.75 he charged me. I should have known based on their previous bad reviews not to go there.

Having my car repaired at Finishline is like having my brother take care of my car. They serviced my car in a timely manner, let me know I did not need brakes when I thought I did, even checked my spare tire pressure (which was flat) and updated my GPS for no charge. It is great to know I have my very own pit crew!

Al and his team at South County Brake and Auto are wonderful. They have serviced all of our family cars for over 10 years. This business is the type every non-mechanical person wants to have as a go to. They are trustworthy, timely and they do what they say they are going to do. There have been a few times where I have needed them to look into something and they were clear in explaining the problem and fair in their estimation of costs. I would highly recommend them for brake repair along with general mechanic services.
