They took the time to find the issue and explain what was needed and why. They showed me the used parts and what to keep an eye on. It is comforting to have complete trust in a mechanic. STOP! You do not need to go to any other auto repair then right here (Japanese models only). I've been coming here since when the guys only serviced Hondas (hence the name Japanese Beetle Shop, at least back in those days). They have service our 1997 (that's right folks) Honda Accord Wagon since 1997. Mike and Dave are the BEST. Fair, honest, quality auto repair. Reliable, on time delivery. I support our local independents. Even better when they provide outstanding service with a smile. Chat up a storm with Mike (I can call him Mickey) about his kids and anything else. Highly recommended. No frills but who needs your car washed and pickup service when you can TRUST the mechanic who works on your car?

Just recently I brought a vehicle in for a major repair and I was leaving on a business trip. Once the repairs were made, Jaclyn drove it up to my home in San Francisco to personally deliver it to my wife while I was away. Now that's top notch customer service. Car shaking while driving at speed. Seemed obvious alignment problem. Had alignment done. Received car back WITH NO COMMENT. I drove car and shaking still there. Took car back to tire/alignment shop. Now they tell me it’s the shocks. Something they probably should have noticed and told me already. But I know a little something about cars and it didn’t seem right to me; the car clearly passed the bounce up-and-down test. So I took the car to Expert Auto Care (EAC) being reviewed here. They put the car up on the rack, and within minutes came back to me to show me rattling tie-rod and bad ball joint…OBVIOUS, they were so bad. On the opposite side they showed me an adjustment nut was rust-locked into place and rounded-off. It obviously didn’t happen within the last week, when I had the alignment done, because of the corrosion. You would think the alignment shop would have noticed and told me that too. And how the heck could they do an alignment with either of those problems??? Also, they showed the tire shop we got the tires from (not aligned so), used a single 6oz weight for balancing. EAC said maximum single weight to use, according to state regulations, was 2oz. This is something else you’d think would be noticed by the alignment shop. All in all, EAC ball parked a couple of thousand dollars to service a $2000 car, and suggested it might be better to buy a new/newer car, and we should go home and think about this. Which was very good of them. (Not that I wasn’t going to do that anyway). On the shop wall there is cost of service, and the 20-25min diagnosis should have run between $60-$95, but EAC charged me nothing $0. Which was very very kind of them. I can highly recommend EAC for, at least, diagnosis service honesty. And, based on EAC’s diagnosis (which they showed me) I cannot recommend “Wheel Works of Mt. View” for suspension work.

I was extremely impressed and most appreciative of the service provided for my clutch replacement & brake work. The work was done quickly, the guys were wonderful to work with, explained everything - and now my car runs wonderful. I will definitely bring my car back for all future work & maintenance.

Been back a few times including for scheduled service. They make the process super easy, and continue to be a delight to work with. Great experience with knowledgeable staff. They were very helpful in recommending products and options as well as verifying my choices lined up with my intent. I had a great experience with William Michael Automotive. I brought my car in with a weird noise and they were able to quickly diagnose the problem and propose a solution. I was blown away by the emails I received from them with photos of my actual problem along with diagrams of how it should look and function. They really go out of their way to make the customer feel comfortable that they are getting great service. I really appreciate the level a detail they took in their work and would highly recommend them to anyone I know looking for a mechanic they can trust!

Waid does excellent work. He fixed my brakes on my Audi A4 S -Line for $200 less than what the dealership quoted me and it only took a couple of hours. I'll definitely take my car to Waid for any repairs/maintenance in the future. Highly recommended!

This is the ONLY place I take my Porsche. Don and his team provide excellent service. An example : My alternator went out & after a night on the trickle charge I thought I could make it over. Unfortunately my care died only a few blocks away. I explained my situation to Don and he sent a mechanic over with an extra battery to assist me in completing the journey to the shop.
