I am writing this for my husband I can't believe he had such a good mechanic under wraps and does not share with others. All you women out there that are afraid to trust a mechanic call John.he is a good honest guy and we'll treat you fairly. My husband has a race car and only trusts it to John. His experience and dedication to his industry is amazing, and he his loyalty to his clients is legendary. If you need work on a European or import car he is your guy.

Took my car in for a tune up 3 weeks ago, had to wait 6 hours on a 2 hour job that was pre-scheduled. Now the truck won't idle it never had a problem before, Took it back and received an outrageous estimate, lucky I did my research on internet and asked for the estimate by fax to quote it out, they lowered it $100 knowing I was doing research. Bad business practices I would not recommend this shop if you want peace of mind and honest dealings.

I had them performed an engine swap in my Jaguar. The job was complicated because I had a Corvette 5.7L engine used to replace the 4.0L Jaguar engine. The job was completed in 2 days without any problem. Other shops that wanted the job asked for 7 days at least. I'm glad I found these guys - they are now mechanic for life. Good job!!! I will highly recommend you to everyone.

Took my 2019 Mustang GT to them after being told the dyno tune and e85 conversion would cost $1,400.00. An hour after dropping off the car my son (his car) was called and told they couldn't do the E85 conversion without a kit and the cost to tune the car would be $2045.00. They said it was more work than they anticipated. They are are called the Dyno Shop but don't know what it entails to tune a stock 2019 GT? Unfortunately my son told them okay and they did the tune. No complaints on the work done. When we picked the car up Hayden, the mechanic, said he would only charge $200.00 to install the flex fuel kit if we brought it back to them. stupidity on my part but we purchased the kit and brought it back to them. Like clock work, they call an hour later and say it will cost $500.00 and we need to bring them a card for the tuner claiming it didn't come with one. My son says okay again and brings them the card. Two days later we get the car back at a cost of $795.00. The tuner was not hooked up only the card was programmed with the settings. He said that would be extra to install and hook up the tuner. Seriously? When my son went to hook up the tuner the card that came with it (the one they said it didn't have) was in the tuner and blank meaning he only programmed the card we bought and never tested the tuner. When we installed the card Hayden programmed it was blocked by firewall issues. I called and complained to the owner (Mark) who was cool other than saying we should have just said no to the price changes and didn't seem concerned about that being a poor business practice. He arranged for the car to be taken care of on a Saturday and said the tuner would be fixed and installed for us in the dash as it is supposed to be. My son took it in and it was fixed however Hayden refused to install it in the dash as Mark promised. $2800.00 bill and that's the service you get... Buyer beware. They can tune cars but it will cost you double the estimate if you want it done by them.

They were great! They were prepared, knowledgeable, and the rates were completely reasonable. They knew what was wrong with my truck and trailer; and had me back on the road in no time. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

What can I say? Unbelievable service from Dan (the owner)! He personally stepped in and made a horrible situation bearable. Our daughter wrecked her beautiful BMW (which we purchased from Dan). She took it to the BMW dealership and they wanted $$$$ to fix it. I called Dan and he immediately started working to help me out. He studied the estimate from BMW, researched the parts needed to fix her car (way past office hours), and gave me an estimate of what he thought the repairs would run. And it's not a surprise it was a fraction of the previous estimate! Dan set up the tow, ordered the parts and fixed my daughter's car in less than a week. It was short of miraculous! On top of the incredible service, Dan threw in a personal 'car class' to educate our daughter how to properly take care of a car. Dan, we are so thankful and full of gratitude for everything you have done for us. You went above and beyond to help us out of a terrible bind. You bet I would recommend Dr Ttrans. how do you really know if a business really does stand behind their work? I took my 2003 Toyota in for a complete transmission rebuild just over 3 years a go in June of 2009, I have had no trouble the entire time with the transmission that Dr Trans rebuilt for me. But just last week I thought I had ad issue with slamming when it changed gears. So I took it back to Dr Trans. they put it up on the rack made a some sort of adjustment and I have been good to go for the last week. The actual transmission was out of warranty, but Chris made the adjustment for free and had I taken my truck in like I should have for that last years free adjustment I probably would not of had this problem anyway. What a great place to do business with, in a day when folks put you on hold ,play loud music you don’t like, and give you solutions that only cost you more money… Dr trans stands behind their work and were nice enough not to charge me dime when they could have. I told the owner Chris that I would post an on-line comment. You will see this post in several places because of Dr Trans great transmission service. Thanks guys again. If you live in San Diego in the Kearney Mesa Area call these guys.

Great customer service - I originally bought 4 Winnrun tires in Murrieta and "tested" them on my commute to work - 60 miles. Horrible tire for an Audi A4. Manager at store of purchase said they were similar to my Toyo's. Ummm, no...So I went into the Kearny Mesa location and was greeted by Daniel and Joey I told them my issue and was promptly issued a credit for the tires and exchanged them for a set of Toyo.
