Emissions testing service near Yorba Linda, CA

Today 8/8/2015 I took my truck to SmogZone at 12365 it was about 3:45PM, they closed at 4:00PM. I was greeted by John Yang who speaks limited English. In short he ran a SMOG Test on my truck, he never brought it into the bay to run any RPM tests. At 4PM he tells me "Oh your truck didn't pass." On the form he points to Smoke Check. He said "I do not know what that is, you must go to a SMOG Certification to have it checked, I'll charge you $35 to retest in 30 days." I was so upset, the truck has 36,000 miles, not a hint of smoke. I came home and looked up Smoke Check and found he is the one who enters Smoke Check. I plan to dispute the $49.75 he charged me. I should have known based on their previous bad reviews not to go there.

These guys are awesome Francisco has the best customer service he's staying after closing to solve a problem with my dad's ac. The cost isn't worth staying after but he goes above and beyond. This is my new place to bring my truck and refer my friends and family to, not only is it low priced service they are also honest. I took a 2004 Kia Optima to AER quite a while ago. I did some shopping around asking other Mechanic shops for prices and what they do. I settled with AER because they gave reasonable prices. After i left them the car, it took them maybe 2 days to call me back and tell of the additional parts my car needed and gave me a revised estimate. It was a bit more that i had thought it would be but i agreed to continue with the work. Starting from day one, it took them a little less than two weeks to repair my Kia. To this day I have not had any problems with them. Thank you AER for a great service.

DON'T USE THIS SHOP ,DON'T TRUST THESE GUYS AT ALL ,THE OWNER IS VERY RUDE , THEY FAILED TO REPAIR OUR CAR CORRECTLY AFTER TWO TRYS,AND KEEP THE CAR OVER 30 DAYS ,THEY CALLED US EVERY THREE DAYS AND SAYS THEY FOUND MORE THINGS WRONG NEED MORE REPAIRS AND MORE MONEY ,THEY STILL DIDN'T FIX THE CAR RIGHT , WE HAD TO TOW THE CAR TO THE DEALER ,TO REPAIR THE CAR CORRECTLY, THEY WOULD NOT REFUND OUR MONEY , TREATED US VERY BAD ,1200.00 DOLLARS WASTED AT THIS SHOP ... DONT USE THESE GUYS 'PAUL' BAD PEOPLE
