We broke down on I-684 and had no choice about getting our fuel pump replaced here. The good - They were able to get to our car the next day (Saturday) and get it done and they gave our family of 4 a ride to a hotel. The bad - They are *very* expensive. While the parts and labor charges were clear and technically correct, they were at the very top of the high end of the range for everything. They were as expensive (or more) than going to a dealer! I had asked if they could cut us a bit of a break, given their high prices and our financial situation (We are not well off, as evidenced by our 11 year old car). But they would not even consider giving us even a dime of discount.

I call this family owned business a salon, because when you get your vehicle back from any kind of repair, it looks and drives like it was the best taken care of vehicle anyone could own. Joe, the owner, personally watches over all the work being done, and never will let anything go out of his shop/Auto Salon without looking perfect. And I mean PERFECTO!!! I have been using this Authobody salon for years and won't consider bringing my vehicle anywhere else. It's Crazy! Nobody looks forward to getting into an accident! But if you do! You will love your vehicle even more than you did after the repair than before the accident. ITS THAT GOOD. I GIVE THIS BUSINESS A AND C AUTOBODY MY PERSONAL SIGN OF APPROVAL. I DON'T CARE HOW FUSSY YOU ARE, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THE RESULTS!!!

The owner of this company is an extremely rude sexist and thief! I got in a car accident and my car was towed to this shop without my consent. I requested for the car to be towed to my normal shop (which is lovely) to be worked on instead. The owner forced me to come in person to sign to release my car. He then in person called me (a female) stupid REPEATIDLY for moving my car saying Geico was taking advantage of me and my rights, even though it was my choice to have my car moved. After being berated REPEATIDLY and signing to release my car in person I come to find out that the owner is still REFUSING to release my car unless the insurance company pays the storage for my car in person in cash (not common practice). They are refusing the check payment that was sent. This thief is still holding my car charging daily fees refusing to release it which is against NYS law. It has been over a week. BEWARE and NEVER let this man have his hands on your car.
