AAMCO transmission in my book are the biggest crooked in the auto repair industry. Paid them $6500.00 for rebuilding my transmission and a year later the transmission broke again and they did not wanted to know anything about it.please stay away from this franchise the all they want is ur money.

I am fairly new to New York. You hear often the stereotypes of a dog-eat-dog world. So looking for a mechanic, and honesty, is not an easy task. However, I was in a jam and needed to find one. I came across the reviews for Hughes Motor Corp, and I was immediately impressed to make a call. Vinny answered (he's part of a duo with Kevin). He was very friendly and assuring when I told him about the problems with my Durango. I had AAA tow the car to their workshop in Yonkers. These guys are professional, efficient, and you get your car back within the time frame that is estimated. Overall, I highly recommend this workshop, they are a great team. They will take care of your problems and put you at ease. Cars are expensive toys, what you hope to get is a decent repair job at a fair price. These guys provide both, you'll be in good hands. Islip Transmission blows. They must have dropped the flywheel and damaged it before putting it back in, thinking I wouldnt notice, because now my car wount always start. The teeth on my flywheel are damaged, and these guys don't honor their warranties. Oh, and its my fault, so they wont honor the warranties I guess if your dumb enough to give these guys your money, getting screwed should be expected. I'll never go back, and highly reccomend you choose a better shop, Pat & Tommy are crooks.

This is my go to shop! Anthony is a great and honest person! He told me what my car needed and what it didn't need...unlike other shops! i trust them with all my cars and trucks. i recommend him 110 %

Absolute crook. Tried to solve my problem by selling me another car and keeping mine, rather than finding a cost effective way to fix mine. STAY AWAY - CHARGES MONEY EVEN TO JUST LOOK AT A CAR. After trying to cheat me, I called to say I was coming to pick up the car. Said I could just come get, then held my car hostage for money until I paid a "Diagnostic Fee". TOTAL SCAM - STAY AWAY!
