As someone who works in the car world and is very cautious when it comes to mechanics, I can say hands down these guys are the best! Everyone I met was friendly, helpful, patient and went out of their way for me. The work required for my car required a lot of investigation to discover the issue and could have cost thousands to fix, but Bill researched a more affordable resolution that got the job done and hopefully will prevent the issue from arising again! I went to porter hyundai in newark, de to reset the computer (not the code) since the engine light with 0401 code is coming out. I already brought this car to 2 different mechanics and they all told me the same that the EGR is fine. What it needs is to reset the computer -not just to delete the code, but to reset the computer. Like rebooting a pc. to get rid of the engine light. The car advisor Keith Laverty says they did it but the light keeps coming back. I have a feeling that this service advisor is telling a lie because a car needs to be driven before the lights will come out again. He charged me $89.99 for the check-up which I already told them that I know the problem - what I need is for them to "Reset the computer", not the code! This dealership just wanted to get money. They have no concern or even listens to the customers. Also, I came there 10am and told him that I need to be out by 11am because my wife has work at 12pm. I will not hand-in the car if we'll be late. He promised it can be done my 11am. It's already 11:30 when the car was ready. He even told me to drive faster to get my wife on time to work!! What a very bad service advisor. He is suppose to give good advise. But instead he already rob us of the service that was not given and yet they wanted us to get a speeding ticket or worse an accident!
