Brake repair service near Cocoa, FL

I was looking for an auto repair shop that I could trust would NOT treat me like a stupid woman and jack up the prices. Women and the elderly get a sticker of "sucker" put on their forehead when they arrive to Firestone, Goodyear, Tire Kingdom and the likes. I got a referral from a AAA driver who said they would take their own car to Jake's if they didn't do their own service at home. I was assured Jake's only performed service that was actually needed and did not try to sell you extras. I liked that. I took my car in and while waiting a few minutes in the office, a gentleman came in to pick up his car. An Elderly gentleman. He told me that Tire Kingdom told him he needed a new serpentine belt but the gentleman wasn't so sure so he took it to Jake's for a 2nd opinion. The mechanic at Jake's determined there was nothing wrong whatsoever with the serpentine belt and charged him $0! This confirmed Jake's is what I was looking for!! Now to me... I have an old car with very low miles. Jake's found my problem quickly and a few others which I expected. I hadn't taken the car in for quite a while other than oil changes, tires and such. One repair would correct my "noise". One was a major safety issue so I didn't lose my wheel one day driving down the road! Two could be done at a later date but they wanted them to be on my radar. I wasn't sure I could afford the two major issues at the same time but Jake found discounts or specials or coupons or something and lowered the price by enough where I could afford to do both! I was so relieved and thankful to have found such a good, honest establishment. I was introduced to most of the mechanics while I waited to be driven home when I left the car and everyone from the young woman working the office, to the mechanics, to Drew and to Jake. Everyone was so nice, caring, and knowledgeable. I would recommend Jake's to everyone especially the elderly and women!!

All my friends and family take our vehicles to Sweeneys and have done so for over 20 years. They are always courteous and professional and above all very honest. I highly recommend them.

I went just to a diagnostic AC they tell me will be a cost for 50 dollar I did acepte but the supposed fix my Ac with out my concert . No communication they just bill me for $ 283 I feel my self force to paid . I did paid . When I got home my AC is not working . I went back to request a refund and the owner Armando very aggressive just said he only will refund $10 dólares . Is not a honest person . They take advantage of the situation and charge the amount of money with not fixing the problem. I do not recommend this place.

If you have to buy tires here. Do not and I repeat, do not buy them from william (bill). The man is VERY rude and his customer service is horrible.

My mom went in for an oil change and they told her that power steering fluid is leaking and power steering could go out at any time. They quoted $1,300+ and used the fear factor to try and sell her something they thought they could get away with. Fortunately we got a 2nd opinion from a reputable local auto repair who said the rack & pinion steering was fine & that there was no leak that needed to be addressed at that time, car was in very good shape... bottom line was that we were about to get ripped off. ps...oil change was sloppy and left oil all over bottom of car. These guys should not be allowed to do business, but unfortunately, there are new unsuspecting customers every day. Please spread the word..

By far the most honest and straightforward auto repair provider I have used in my 41 years in Melbourne, Florida. They charge a market price (not a low price) and I am fine with that. Mellor's works on many different vehicles, which is a challenge, and generally use good quality aftermarket parts. I often ask Mellor's to quote to me both dealer parts and aftermarket parts, and then I decide which parts to ask them to get. That flexibility as to parts is important to me. For example, I always without exception choose the dealer oil filter.

I had an accident that significantly damaged my car. It was towed to M and L Auto Center because they were next on the police rotation for towing. I was going to have the car repaired by the facility suggested by my insurer and went to M and L to sign a release to transfer it. After speaking at length with the owner, Mike, I felt that if he repaired the car, he would be an advocate serving my interests rather than those of the insurer, and serve as a liaison throughout the repair process. Also, his office and shop were extremely neat, clean, and well-organized, which I took as an indication of how they might approach their work. I left the car at M and L for the repairs and am glad I did. The car was finished on the day it was promised, which was a very reasonable length of time considering the amount of damage. Throughout, I was kept up to date on the progress and was always able to speak with Mike when a question arose. The car was spotless inside and out when I picked it up. The repair looked perfect and the car ran great. A couple very minor details were noticed at the time of delivery and were immediately rectified. Within the week after leaving the shop, a couple problems arose that were intermittent or delayed, and not initially apparent. Both times the issues were immediately investigated and rectified. I was asked to follow-up with Mike should any other questions or problems arise (none have), and I feel confident they would also be addressed promptly and properly. Having no knowledge of local body shops, and having to decide whom to trust to repair my car under the stress of an accident, was a difficult decision. I feel fortunate that M and L happened to be who the police called to tow the car. They were extremely professional and helped make the repair process as painless as I could have hoped. I would not hesitate to return to M and L for other work in the future.

Recently I took my car in for some tires and a competitor informed me they found several other things that needed immediate repair but I decided to get a second opinion from Brin at Assured Auto Works. After his inspection, not only were the conditions exaggerated but some of the suggested work was not even necessary at all. Finding an honest repair shop that will not nickle and dime you to death is extremely difficult in this day and age and I’m extremely grateful to have finally found someone trustworthy to take care of my auto maintenance and repairs. Excellent work, competitive prices, ethical and dependable.

Carl and the Southern Car Care team did an outstanding job diagnosing an instrument panel problem on my Pontiac Firebird. They fixed the speedometer, instrument lights, fuel gauge and warning lights in very short order and at a very reasonable cost. Carl has earned is great reputation for autmotive electrical work in our community, and he really impressed me with the speed, quality and reasonable cost of work.

If you plan on purchasing a BMW don't waste your time here and go to Coggin BMW Ft. Pierce. I planned on purchasing a used I3 and put a 2K deposit down because I was out of town. I was planning on picking it up just two days from when I put the deposit down. I received a call the day before I was going to pickup my car, and was told that they sold it to another person. I then asked for a refund of my deposit and they hung up on me!!! I have never had, such a terrible experience at a car dealer. I even signed a contract it's as if they sold an already sold car. My salesman told me the manger made this decision. I've got to wonder if his prior job was at a cutthroat used car dealer. Or if this entire establishment is run like one.

Horrible experience with this Mechanic, This thug his name is Steve ripped me off ,and damaged my car. I gave him my car to repair my power steering column since I had a fluid leak and always hearing a noise . He called me to come and pick up my car, When I got there car's battery was dead, because he left the headlights on, So he gave it a jump to work and told me that it will work fine , also it wasn't clear that he didn't correctly fix power steering, so I paid him $522 for his work., meanwhile and in the same date it requires me to do the same each time I ride it, so I called and told him he should fix it on his own, but he hung up with me, so I went directly to another mechanic "tire plus", They did diagnosis on the car and reported that the battery is no longer working , and have them change it. I also had them check his work since the noise and squeaking started to show up again. I was surprisingly shocked by their report which said that he damaged lines connecting the ps column and the fluid leak is still there. They gave me an estimate for repairing this which include redoing power steering and pressure hose as well, and the cost for doing this is $1220, which is close to three times I paid him. And since I don't trust him anymore, I don't advise you to go to this dishonest person !! .He is negligent , unskilled and unprofessional too. he will rip you off and damage your car!!
