We stock a plentiful number of Chevy 700R4 (and Chevy 700R4 / 4L60 / 4L60E / 4L65E 's) as well as Ford AODE and 4R70W transmissions. Ron has been building and repairing transmissions since he was 15 and it has become a way of life for him. He basically eats and sleeps transmissions. We specialize in classic and high performance cars but also do the daily driver, pick ups and work trucks, work vans etc. . We have made "Honesty is the best policy" our motto because in this business alot of the well known transmission shops will charge you an arm and a leg for the job when it reality it may be half the price. They may charge you for parts that they are not even installing in your vehicle. They have to consider major overhead and believe me after the strories I have heard 50% of past customers have come to us after getting a price and find ourt we can do the job for half the price and offer a longer guarantee. I delt with Art .I will say that Art is a very nice man makes you feel good and calm .I would rate him alone number one in Customer Service ! I had moved and left my car to come back and get it .But of course thanks to the great landlord services in Fl.There words aren't the best .Art went and towed my 97 GmC to his shop waited for me to send my key .*** Then finding out there were other issues wasn't my cup of tea . I had some choices to make from afar . Now I guess all I can say is that .I as I a woman in the Automotive industruty really wouldn't just let her car go for $200 dollars now . So I found thatArt was the one person that made me feel the best about me deciding but hard to take my car from the shop for a second oppinion .And we all deserve this .But leaving me with a $175.00 tow bill because I wasn't fixing it there ? LOL wow amazing how scamming thing can end up in the end .But I still like Art !

Angelo and his team team are amazing. Ive taken my car there for years, on multiple occassions I compared their prices to other mechanics and they were always much lower. One time when I coukdnt afford a new muffler I needed very badly, they fixed it basically for free. Ive had so many great experiences there I cant even list them all. I reccommend everyone I know to go here.

I've always try to avoid the dealers but I take the chance last week to the al Parker ford on millitary trail and I meet this life saver . He's John I take care of me a way I didn't expected . He told me and fix my issue in less than 30 mn I got my 05 ford expedition alive again from him. Thank u John . This Midas location is less than 5 minutes from my house so I always use them. Not just for the convienience, but for the guys that run it, and the excellent service they provide. They remember my name, my car, and my wife. One day I dropped my car off to be serviced and was waiting for my wife to get out of work to pick me up. One of the mechanics shift was over so he offered to run me up the street to my house. They remember what service you got last time you were in and ask you how its been working out for you. They are very honest and straight forward. If you need something done you didn't know about they will let you know and give you an estimate, as well as a timeline for which you should have it done. These guys are very nice and they work fast. Midas is not the little oil change chain I thought it was. Its an actual garage, with many services available for a great value.

The absolute WORST NIGHTMARE ! Do not take your vehicle here. Do not do business with Affordable transmission. Do yourself a favor and stay away from them. Brought my vehicle to them for a transmission change back in January 2023. Car kept giving problems after transmission change brought back to them last month , June 2023 and today is July 27th and my car is still at their shop. No COMMUNICATION whatsoever. I’ve had to constantly reach out to one of the owners “Ocatvio” and that gets me nowhere. Extremely unprofessional doing business. With having to constantly follow-up (I’d give enough time in between communication because I do understand it can take some time) and time passes and zero communication from Affordable Transmission. I started coming this week Monday 7/24/23 to be exact, Octavio was actually in the office. He stated it would be ready before Friday 7/28/23. Today is Thursday 7/27/23 and the New Transmission is not even here yet. The WORST experience EVER. Again, I only know this because I’ve had to start coming to the shop to find out the status of my car.

Horrible cusomer care! I am a forigner also and have no problem with accents. It is the rudeness and unsanitary physical appearance of the owner that bothers me. If you want to be yelled and have your car trashed this is the perfect place for you. After 2 weeks of nothing but smoking inside of my car I had to take the car to another shop. He did not charged me but on my way out he yelled one more time. I know what is wrong and fix it for $900. Once I got home I noticed a bunch of missing screws and panels not put back the right way and some bucher job on wiring. What a horrible way to run a business!
