Thank you guys for helping me with all my car problems. Michael and his sons run a class operation. Their customer service and attention to detail are the reason they have been in the business for so long. It's nice to see that an old fashioned family operation can still thrive in the day and age of corporate stores. If you have any automotive problems or questions, I suggest you contact them. Most likely they can fix it and if they can't they will shoot you straight and send you to someone who can. In the automotive industry, where none of us "civilians" have a clue what makes our cars run, HONESTY is priceless. These guys have the goods!

Brought Chevy Astro van in on April 6th after having another shop install an electric fuel pump. Upon leaving the other shop the vehicle stalled a number of times creating a very dangerous traffic situation. The van did need a fuel pump but after the other shop completed the work the problems really started only after leaving and going a few blocks. I had managed to pull over and call them (at 4:45pm) and was told they could do nothing but told me of Walt's. Being only a few blocks from the shop I managed to get the van there where I was told they would check it out the next day. They contacted me prior to closing at 12:00pm and said it was more serious than first thought. After a series of tests etc. it was deter- mined I had not only a computer problem but injector and alternator issues. Long story short, they fixed everything and got the vehicle back better than new and even made an "adjustment" on my bill to offset the time it took to get it right. I PLACED MY ORDER AND GOT THE SPRINGS IN 3 DAYS BRAND NEW $75.00 EACH + ($56.00 SHIPPING) W/BUSHINGS ALREADY TO GO. THAT WAS A GOOD LESSON FOR ME AND MY FRIENDS. I'm relatively new in the area, and needed to find a reliable automotive repair and service shop to help me with numerous issues that have been creeping up with my car recently. I had been noticing some issues with my suspensions, alignment, and some strange things happening with my engine, and since I'm not an expert, I needed a shop that would provide honest, friendly, and courteous service and wouldn't try to take me (and my wallet) for a ride. I was pleased when I called Car Port Specialist on a whim and had a pleasant conversation with them over the phone. They were patient with me and didn't talk down to me or make me feel small for not knowing exactly what the problem was. I came in the same day and they did some diagnostic testing, and I didn't even have to pay from the estimate. For me, this was big; other shops I called had no patience for me being unsure about the exact nature of the problem, and would have charged a substantial amount for the estimate. In the end, I was expecting the repairs to be more expensive than they were. Ultimately the engine issue was minimal, and the prices for everything were extremely fair. DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE LGBT+. This mechanic has amazing reviews on google and I have used them in the past with great results. But now that I am using them as a trans woman I can see the way they treat the LGBT+ community. I went for an oil change and got the car back with the splash guard dragging on the ground. They said they’d fix and convinced me to use them for tires and a new rear mirror also. When got it back from that two weeks later. The splash guard had been just removed without replacement and the front splash guard was now dragging. I was charged hundreds more for the tires than quoted and they won’t give me an invoice just a generic receipt. The rear mirror was never touched and was never told for two weeks while they had the car that they couldn’t get the mirror for my car. So over a month I barely had a car, spent over $3,000 and now I am missing a splash guard and the other is broken. Rear mirror is still broken. Only positive is an oil change and nice tires that where probably way over priced. Used this mechanic for 2 cars over 3 years and they have been amazing and the reviews everywhere are amazing. But then I walked in the door at a trans woman and that all changed.
