Just when you thought you heard a bad Mechanic story....you experience one WORSE...... A friend who had gotten ill and had heart bypass surgery brought his pick up for repair there over a year ago. A man named Fred Baum told my friend that he paid the mechanic $600 to fix the truck . The truck has sat there over a year and has not been fixed,,..and then we find out that this guy Fred never paid a dime for any repairs......( who is a buddy of the mechanic) Three times the mechanic told me that he WAS fixing the truck ...... Well the truck NEVER got fixed, Joe the owner pulled a fast one and stole the vehicle from my friend by putting the title in his name......

I have had my cars serviced at Ricks for over 10 years. I would not think of going anywhere else. Beyond their quality of work (which is outstanding) the entire staff is honest and forthright. Its a refreshing change.

The guys working at this shop on 111 Ave (1 block West of 41 on Immokalee Road) are amazing! Helpful, honest, and thorough. If you need tires or any other car work done, try this place.

Coastland has greatly helped me out as a young car owner. They do all my routine maintenance work (the wait time for an oil change is next to nothing from what I used to wait when I took my car to the dealership) and even fixed the clip on my fender for free the same day I noticed it was hanging from beneath my car. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they all jumped to help me understand what was needed to be done to maintain my car and helped me decide how to break up the list in the most affordable way. I would recommend Coastland Automotive services to anyone who cares about their car!

Honest, straightforward, reliable, helpful... what's not to like? In fact, that's a lot to like! I was initially referred there by a knowledgeable friend, so this should count as two positive reviews. Always a positive experience for me.

After doing some cursory online research to find a reputable independent Volvo repair shop in the Naples, FL area, I left a voice-mail message on a Saturday asking for a return call specific to costs for a 105k service on a V70. At 8:45 on Monday morning, I recieved a phone call from Tricia. Its nice to know that they take business seriously -- especially from someone who has no sercice history with them. I anticipate doing business with these folks soon.

I think these guys take advantage of women for sure, maybe others as well. My ex took her car here on several occasions to have work done. First it was because of the battery. They told her it was an alternator problem and replaced it. Later she drove to the east coast and still same issue, so a mechanic here replaced the battery, which on this car is a chore. Still having issues when she returned to them, they told her the harmonic balance was bad, and that's why it wasn't charging properly. But still no refund for the not bad alternator. As a former mechanic and an ASE certified one for over 20 years, I can tell you, the alternator and the harmonic balance were both OK. So next trip they say she needs all new brakes rotors, pads, calipers, the works. Now being female when they say things like, "you wont be able to stop or your wheel is going to fall off", she buys it. So this time she had a noise and took it back, they said she needed all new ball joints upper and lower both sides in the front. So I got on the phone with Matt, I can tell you they have no idea what there talking about, stumbling over his diagnosis and telling me it needs them, said if nothing else needs an front wheel alignment. Anybody who knows cars knows you cant align the front if the ball joints are bad. Now keep in mind this car, for a 1999 only has 48000 miles on it. So I had her take it to somebody else, two places in fact. The noise ended up being a piece of plastic wheel well the most likely bent when doing the brake job. The ball joints are fine and do not need replacing. It's sad that shops like this one can stay in business doing people like this. I also have a recorded conversation with the mechanic that he stated if she didn't replace the ball joints her wheel was going to fall off. So no disputing that they said that. Bottom line stay away from these people!!! Read Reviews on yelp and google this shop is no good. save yourself a headache.

Fast and courteous. Experts in their field. And reasonable prices. It doesn't get better than this.

COMPETENT DIAGNOSIS SLOW COMPLETION OF WORK OVERPRICED

I had a terrible experience with this business. The person working behind the counter said he was the owner. Interaction started out friendly enough. However, he asked if I would like to have my in cabin air filter changed (in addition to brakes, rotors, and oil change I was having done), and I said maybe, but that I would like to know how much it cost first. About and hour went by and I hadn’t heard back about it so I asked how much and he said $52, and informed me that it had already been done. He showed me the old air filter and it was dirty. I’m not disputing that it should have been done, but I didn’t have a chance to price it out, and I had specifically asked him to let me know how much it was going to be. I never argued about payment for it because $52 isn’t worth it, but I did tell him that I wasn’t happy that they had done it without asking. The owner didn’t see the problem with what they had done and got indignant and told me that at his shop he takes care of vehicles how he sees fit. On top of that, the actual cost for the air filter change ended up being closer to $70. That’s something that I would have chosen to wait on. Also, we are in the middle of a pandemic. The guy is standing behind the counter eating and drinking, touching his face and mouth. I asked him to use hand sanitizer before touching anything he was going to hand to me or any of my things he’d be touching. Again, he got very indignant and told me that he wasn’t going to do that and that I could use it if I wanted. It was a simple and polite request. He was very disrespectful and I felt like during our entire interaction he was disrespectful. I strongly recommend taking your car somewhere else. There are a lot of great auto shops out there. I stopped into this one today out of convenience of location and I’m very sorry that I did. I don’t spend my money anywhere where I’m treated that way as a customer or the owner can’t take basic safety precautions.

Worst shop in the world. No concept of customer service. Poor workmanship. Missed schedules. Horrible
