I can't say enough good things about Mark. We were visiting JAX and discovered an oil leak in our Range Rover on a Thursday night. Mark got us in the next morning and provided a quick diagnosis and repair cost estimate. Even though the parts had to be ordered (none in the area) we were still able to get it fixed and back home on time. What a great experience. I have a 2006 F350 that had a cracked case, these guys were honest and up front about what it needed. When the work was done they actually charged me less than they quoted me. If you want it done rite the first time, this is the only place you need to go. They have a customer for life. I was new to the Jacksonville area and needed to have some work done on my car. I called over to Tubels and they fit me in that day. They diagnosed what was wrong with car and even fixed it that day. I guess that is why they must be one of the top auto repair shops in Jacksonville FL.

Chris came to my rescue today. I just had my oil changed at the oil change place down the street and the next time I started my car there were multiple warning lights on. He hooked it up to monitor, opened the hood and said "here's your problem" as he reconnected a hose. I was on my way in 5 minutes and he didn't charge me. We have used Westside Automotive for many years for our vehicle repairs and always been satisfied. I guess I should have used them for the oil change too so it would have been done right. I had my Dakota trans overhauled at this shop and have nothing but shifting problems despite bringing it back 3 times it's still was not right! Got tired of dealing with the rude manager and took it to another shop to make it right. Never again.

Bobby's Transmission is a great place to have your transmission worked on believe me I've taken classic cars and trucks of mine there and gotten the best work and price of any other transmission shop in town.Bobby's a brain surgeon when it comes to working on a transmissions and his 3 sons didn't fall far from the tree and they got a close friend Joe who I call Joe Trans who's not to shabby himself that works there and makes the team a friendly family fun zone. You can trust me on this one there's no better place in town to take your auto for transmission repairs than Bobby's Transmission they know how to treat people right you might even stop in when your auto's running fine just to shoot the breeze with em like I do. This place is the biggest rip off ever. They screwed me bigtime. I scratched a bumper on a mazda 3 and they charged me for a new bumper and a mud guard??? WTF I have never seen a bigger rip off than this. 900.00 dollars for a 3 inch scratch on a bumper. RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF. They are the biggest scumbags in jacksonville. “Accept no responsibility, show no mercy!” American Transmission rebuilt my transmission, $2300 worth of cost, but failed to diagnose the cause of the problem. Two months later, the same symptoms reappeared. The second time, they did recognize the cause, but refused to accept responsibility for their error and would not honor their warranty. Ended up costing me an additional $500 to repair the newly rebuilt transmission, plus a week without transportation. Buyer Beware!
