I'm relatively new in the area, and needed to find a reliable automotive repair and service shop to help me with numerous issues that have been creeping up with my car recently. I had been noticing some issues with my suspensions, alignment, and some strange things happening with my engine, and since I'm not an expert, I needed a shop that would provide honest, friendly, and courteous service and wouldn't try to take me (and my wallet) for a ride. I was pleased when I called Car Port Specialist on a whim and had a pleasant conversation with them over the phone. They were patient with me and didn't talk down to me or make me feel small for not knowing exactly what the problem was. I came in the same day and they did some diagnostic testing, and I didn't even have to pay from the estimate. For me, this was big; other shops I called had no patience for me being unsure about the exact nature of the problem, and would have charged a substantial amount for the estimate. In the end, I was expecting the repairs to be more expensive than they were. Ultimately the engine issue was minimal, and the prices for everything were extremely fair. A simple inspection was butchered ...They had the VIN completely incorrect. I would not have written a negative review but when i called to inquire they brushed me off. Their error caused GEICO to drop coverage for 3 weeks????

Incompetent, unprofessional and unscrupulous. Vehicle towed to Goodyear by AAA. Goodyear replaces air conditioning compressor, serpentine belt and related parts for $1600. A week later, air conditioner fails and vehicle begins to make noise and smoke. Honda has to redo all work (for $2000) because Goodyear had installed wrong-sized part. Goodyear refused to refund charges. Do not do business with this shop.

Had our 2001 Honda Civic towed in and diagnosed as a bad cam sensor. Two days later picked car up after repair. That saem night the car died and had to be pushed into the drive. I put my own code reader on it and it said bad cam sensor. Looked under the hood and found the wire cover had been left off. Towed car back to shop and they did indeed replace the sensor (again?). Brought car home and now it has a huge oil leak at the valve cover gasket and upper time belt cover. Will repair myself as we have no confidence in this shop.
