I can't say enough good things about Mark. We were visiting JAX and discovered an oil leak in our Range Rover on a Thursday night. Mark got us in the next morning and provided a quick diagnosis and repair cost estimate. Even though the parts had to be ordered (none in the area) we were still able to get it fixed and back home on time. Mark was a pleasure to work with and I would absolutely use his services again....Top Notch!!!

What a great experience. I have a 2006 F350 that had a cracked case, these guys were honest and up front about what it needed. When the work was done they actually charged me less than they quoted me. If you want it done rite the first time, this is the only place you need to go. They have a customer for life. Having an auto repair facility that’s honest, trustworthy and courteous is a breath of fresh air in these days and times, especially if you’ve been watching TV showing all the rip-offs and shoddy work being performed. In contrast, RPM technicians are highly trained, not only mechanically but on the latest computerized technology. Since all autos these days are run by computers, they keep up on the latest diagnostic technology; then apply this new technology to your automobile. Doing this will most likely pinpoint your problem, saving you time and money. If you give them an opportunity I’m sure they will meet your auto repair expectations as they did mine. Chris came to my rescue today. I just had my oil changed at the oil change place down the street and the next time I started my car there were multiple warning lights on. He hooked it up to monitor, opened the hood and said "here's your problem" as he reconnected a hose. I was on my way in 5 minutes and he didn't charge me. We have used Westside Automotive for many years for our vehicle repairs and always been satisfied. I guess I should have used them for the oil change too so it would have been done right. I was new to the Jacksonville area and needed to have some work done on my car. I called over to Tubels and they fit me in that day. They diagnosed what was wrong with car and even fixed it that day. I guess that is why they must be one of the top auto repair shops in Jacksonville FL.

Bobby's Transmission is a great place to have your transmission worked on believe me I've taken classic cars and trucks of mine there and gotten the best work and price of any other transmission shop in town.Bobby's a brain surgeon when it comes to working on a transmissions and his 3 sons didn't fall far from the tree and they got a close friend Joe who I call Joe Trans who's not to shabby himself that works there and makes the team a friendly family fun zone. You can trust me on this one there's no better place in town to take your auto for transmission repairs than Bobby's Transmission they know how to treat people right you might even stop in when your auto's running fine just to shoot the breeze with em like I do. P.S I almost forgot Bobby even drove to May Port and picked me up from work so I could pick up my truck from his shop before they closed for the Christmas Holidays so I wouldn't be with out a truck over the holidays that shows ya what kind of man he is.

I had my Dakota trans overhauled at this shop and have nothing but shifting problems despite bringing it back 3 times it's still was not right! Got tired of dealing with the rude manager and took it to another shop to make it right. Never again.

This place is the biggest rip off ever. They screwed me bigtime. I scratched a bumper on a mazda 3 and they charged me for a new bumper and a mud guard??? WTF I have never seen a bigger rip off than this. 900.00 dollars for a 3 inch scratch on a bumper. RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF. They are the biggest scumbags in jacksonville. If I could give a -?? I would. We paid Ken at Extreme Overdrive $4500 to rebuild my 4L85E transmission. We paid for HIGH PERFORMANCE PARTS. In less than a week I was left stranded on the road, my tranny out. Called Ken, he found every excuse in the book to not cover us under his warranty. We shelled out another $1300 to have him fix again. Picked up my van and 2 days later... Tranny out again. I was stuck out in Orlando. Decided to take the van to a local transmission shop to check it out. We opened up transmission and was a BONE STOCK transmission. None of the parts that we ordered were in the transmission. Called Ken... He refuses to fix what he has done, he agreed to get me parts, I drove up to Jax to pick up my parts that I ordered... He handed me a box of used, refurbished parts. Called Ken again, says that is all he can do. I paid for a billet input shaft, he put a stock one, he refuses to provide me with the part I paid for and refuses to refund my money for the parts that were not provided. BESIDE THE FACT THAT HE IS SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL AND CURSES AT HIS CUSTOMERS BUT... THIS MAN IS A CROOK AND SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONDUCT BUSINESS IN FLORIDA.

“Accept no responsibility, show no mercy!” American Transmission rebuilt my transmission, $2300 worth of cost, but failed to diagnose the cause of the problem. Two months later, the same symptoms reappeared. The second time, they did recognize the cause, but refused to accept responsibility for their error and would not honor their warranty. Ended up costing me an additional $500 to repair the newly rebuilt transmission, plus a week without transportation. Buyer Beware!
