Same repair was done almost exactly a year ago under my friend Vito car ownership. However he gave me the car as a gift & because of that the 3 year 36,000 mile warranty was not honored on the repair he paid for a year ago & I had to pay for the failed previously repair. Since the same issue was only a year ago, I felt that the warranty should have been honored.

My cars AC was not working in the afternoon. They said it would be a 2 hr job which turned into 7hrs only after I called twice to check on it. I had them add Freon but not complete a $1600 repair. Now my car makes a high pitched whine when I accelerate from a stop. No sure what the did.

They told me I had a senor problem and I wanted a second opinion which I didn’t get because 10 miles after leaving the shop my car broke down.

Took 5 hours to get an oil change.i was told it will be ready at 5pm. I got an call on my way there saying they can't get the filter off and need my permission if something breaks off it will be additional charge. Didnt get filter change but said they change the oil and still charge me $67.00. First time here and won't be back.

Auto Medics solicited my review so I am giving it in full. We own 6 vehicles and we exclusively use independent repair shops as they are superior to dealerships in cost, quality, and service. We were stranded 2H from home due to a bad alternator. We began calling mechanics closest to us, but stopped with Auto Medics after Ricardo said he could have us towed with their tow truck and repaired the same day. Estimate sent to our phone listed $600+tax for alternator removal and replacement, which is competitive for our vehicle, $657-958 per RepairPal. I sent my wife and kids to our destination in an Uber. On pickup, approx 1PM, I learned it was not Auto Medics' tow truck but a separate company; this happens but it certainly added to "pass through" costs as the charge was more than what the tow operator would have charged us directly. About 2H after the car arrived at the shop, the estimate went to $1100+ due to diagnostic fee and other add-ons and adjustments. Unfortunately we did not have a screen shot of the first estimate and it was apparently replaced by the shop's updated estimate. Ricardo had gone home due to feeling ill. At this point we felt captive and went ahead. I remained at Auto Medics under the ongoing impression that I was waiting for our vehicle to be ready. The waiting area is very clean and nice. At closing time, 6PM, Ricardo was back at the shop. I asked for an update as other customers were leaving and was told the job was not done. In fact it had not really been started beyond confirming the alternator was bad. Gratefully we were provided a loaner, although it did not fit our family of 6 and rental car agencies were closed by that point. We returned the next afternoon after the repair was complete. The work appeared to be complete and properly done. We questioned the diagnostic fee, which is usually absorbed when a customer agrees to the repair (from our experience) and was part of why the cost increased and was above average. "This is how we do it." If we could do things again we would have called other shops who could have actually done the repair the same day, and would have been more wary about paying a dealership-level price at an independent shop. I think the work was quality, time will tell, but the price and ability to fulfill promises were not.

It took 4 days for a phone call plus rubber lining not replaced PLUS broken rods which not broken upon arrival . My neighbor across the street diagnosed and fixed it. worse situation ever from automedics PLUS I had to pay for a diagnosis which wasnt correct. I would greatly appreciate my $ back. Linda Bolger

Do not come here this company will extort you for money and change the agreed price because you refuse to allow them to work on the car after the diagnostic testing

I have been waiting for feedback link because I didn’t want to share 3 stars directly on Google. I really liked the place for its location and friendliness of the staff. It had a family business vibe and I sincerely want them to be successful. The reasons for only three stars: 1) I had submitted the car for basic Honda service. Even if I dropped it at 8 am I had to call and follow up multiple times for estimates and turn around time. 2) I had called out multiple times that there is no viper fluid left in the car. It is even in the notes. Still it was not filled. I realized it later. I have to go to autozone anyways. It could have been avoided if someone saw the notes. 3) the price quote for battery replacement was almost $100 more than Autozone quoted me. They are on right path but if they need to compete with named brands they need to fix a few of these things. I love their location.

Bad review test.

YoU guys took forever to fix my car also once I got my car back my right blinker wasn’t working and I had parts missing. I would never go to you guys again.
