Engine repair service near Westchase, FL

Been here a few times now. Simply put mechanics who know their craft and whom you can TRUST. If it ain't broke they won't fix it. Icing on the cake...they're good people.

Dale at tires plus at Oldsmar location had "recommended" transmission fluid change/flush, serpentine belt, air filter plus plus plus = $1800 in service. I received a call from Dale who notified me with "transmission fluid is black and burnt, air filter has sand and dirty, belt has bad cracks and ready to snap" "need new rotors (front) etc etc... vehicle has 95k miles on it. I had the transmission service flushed and serviced at Ford at 83k, I replaced the air filter 1k mls ago and belt replaced by Ford ~ 5k mls ago. I checked the transmission fluid and is pink, not gritty and smells fine=not burnt. Air filter is white, no sand and clear=see through it and has no debri. Belt has superficial cracks that are normal and definetly not a concern. Bottom line, this guy Dale is a crook. I had called cooperate, BBS and I am concerned for all consumers that go here for service.

This is a Mom and Pop auto repair shop. Mom, Judy and Pop, Jerry run a well oiled machine here. I am an experienced mechanic and they do all my repairs on my 2012 Odyssey. You need an appointment and it takes a few days to get your car in but the work is spot on. Judy manages the work flow and Jerry does the hands on. Very fair and professional work done on my cars over the past 5 years.

Chris and his Staff are excellent! The prices are beyond reasonable, far less than any Dealership, and better service. I would strongly recommend Trouble Free Auto to anyone seeking a highly qualified Technician to handle any repair. Jason G.
